Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) appeared on CNN Sunday. During the interview he continued to layer on to his anti-Trump rhetoric.
Flake was in New Hampshire recently speaking negatively about Trump, stating how the GOP has a “crying need” for someone to run against the president in 2020.
Flake said there is a 5-alarm fire in the Republican Party right now, which he referred to as the “Trump Party.”
The amnesty-friendly Arizonian said the president would be hard to beat in a primary if it was held today, but was uncertain if it would be hard to do two years from now.
He did not rule himself out to primary the president.
