Two residents of Trump Tower in New York City have reported thefts of tens of thousands of dollars in jewelry in recent weeks.
A 67-year-old women who lives on the 42nd floor of President Trump’s namesake building on Fifth Avenue reported five pieces worth $236,000 were stolen from a drawer in her closet while she was away between June 21 and Sept. 9.

A 33-year-old woman said her $117,000 Graff diamond bracelet was stolen from her 59th-floor apartment after she went on vacation Sept. 3. The woman, Isabelle Bscher, reported the missing bracelet on Sept. 11, the day after she returned home.
According to the report, police are suspecting the high-dollar thefts are an inside job, since there were no signs of a break-in at either residence and insurance fraud is not suspected. The NYPD is investigating and reviewing a list of everyone who has access to the building.
