The Maryland man who has been in custody since February accused of being a domestic terrorist will be released on bail.

Coast Guard Lt. Christopher Hasson, 50, will not be released on bail as soon as Thursday or Friday, but a judge has ruled in favor of bail.

The article goes on to state the following:

Prosecutors had hoped to keep Hasson locked up until trial, claiming the Coast Guard officer was poised to mount a terror attack. The government is accusing Hasson of successfully test-firing illegal, homemade silencers in order “to murder quietly and on a mass scale.”

The government said Hasson had started targeting victims on a hit list, which federal officials now say included two U.S. Supreme Court justices.
