White House counselor Kellyanne Conway insisted Sunday when President Trump denied knowing about the $130,000 hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels on Air Force One in April, he meant he didn’t know when the transaction originally took place.
“In speaking with the president just yesterday, when the president said ‘no’ on Air Force One, he was talking about he didn’t know when the payment occurred,” Conway said during an interview with CNN’s “State of the Union,” referring to an exchange Trump had with reporters traveling on the presidential aircraft.
