Fox News correspondent Griff Jenkins interviewed a man at a campaign rally in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday, who said he didn’t vote for anyone in the 2016 presidential election, but now said he probably will vote for President Trump in 2020.
“I was worried he wouldn’t be a good Republican, but honestly, he’s changed my mind a lot,” the man said, whose name was not provided in the video shared by Fox News.
“The best thing he’s done in my opinion is the tax cuts and the Supreme Court pick, the man added, before going into the rally.
After the rally, Griff caught up with the man again, who said, “I agree with him, we need to make America strong again, we need to make America great again. I liked most of what I heard, so coming from a guy who didn’t like him, to liking him now, that’s a step up, right?”
The rally was on behalf of U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis (R) who is running for governor of Florida. President Trump traveled there to speak and offer his endorsement for DeSantis.
