Cincinnati, OH – Footage from security cameras on the fifth floor of Hamilton County’s courthouse shows Kassandra Jackson get heated at times with officials just outside Magistrate Michael Bachman’s courtroom.

It happened Tuesday, Sept. 4, when Jackson was late for a court procedure.

The article goes on to state the following:

About 10 seconds after Jackson walked away from the officials, Bachman came barreling out of his courtroom with a finger pointing in Jackson’s direction. Using his thumb, Bachman motioned the 28-year-old woman back to his courtroom. When Jackson continued walking away, Bachman picked up his pace and, finger pointed, finally convinced her to turn around.

During the slow walk back to his courtroom, Bachman placed his right hand on Jackson to keep her on the right path. Bachman’s hand remained on Jackson’s neck and shoulder until he guided her from the hallway, into the courtroom and to a seat.

“In almost 30 years of practice, I’ve never seen a judge do that,” attorney Jay Clark said.

Bachman charged Jackson with contempt and then lengthened the sentence when she resisted arrest. The charge against Jackson was dismissed two days later. Bachman then resigned, effective Monday.
