Nervous over the possibility of losing federal funds over the Trump administration’s crackdown on sanctuary cities, the city of Seattle, Washington filed a lawsuit Wednesday, asking a federal judge to declare Trump’s order unconstitutional.
A Facebook page titled “Seattle Looks Like Shit” has come to our attention, which has shared countless pictures and videos of just what this sanctuary city looks like, including homeless camps and garbage.
Seattle is reportedly expected to receive at least $55 million in federal funds and another $99 million for infrastructure projects. Instead of fighting illegal immigration, the city is fighting the Trump adminstration, with the hopes of retaining their federal funding.
ICE’s latest weekly declined detainer report, for the one-week period of Feb. 4-10, 2017, showed that ICE had issued 21 detainers for criminal illegal aliens in King County, Washington (Seattle area).
