Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) reacted to the surprise call by Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake for an FBI investigation into Brett Kavanaugh, despite voting to send his nomination to the Supreme Court to the full Senate.
The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 11-10 in favor of recommending Kavanaugh on Friday.
The article goes on to state the following:
Flake had been undecided before announcing his support for the nominee earlier in the day. He said before the vote that he, in agreement with Democrats, would be calling for a one-week delay to allow the FBI to investigate.
