During the daily coronavirus task force press briefing on Saturday, President Donald J. Trump was asked to share how his youngest son Barron is handling isolation amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“A reporter brought up how the president tweeted ‘hang in there’ to young people missing out on sports leagues, and asked the president to share how his teenage son is dealing with the situation, the Washington Examiner reported.
Giving rare details about his home life, Trump answered the question.
“He’s a good athlete and he loves soccer, and he’s like everyone else. Everything is shut down,” the president said.
“He’s in his room,” Trump added. “He’s happy, but he’s not as happy as he could be. He’d like to be playing sports.”
