President Trump on Tuesday joked about his recent court battles during the annual White House turkey pardon.

Trump warned the two turkeys, named Peas and Carrots, that while they were receiving presidential pardons, a federal court could always block them.

The article goes on to state the following:

“Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee that your pardons won’t be enjoined by the Ninth Circuit,” Trump told the turkeys. “Always happens. They guarantee it.”

Earlier Tuesday, a federal judge blocked Trump from denying asylum to migrants entering the U.S. illegally. Several of Trump’s executive orders and policy changes have also been blocked by federal courts.
