During an appearance at the ‘Women for Women International’ event in New York, Hillary Clinton blamed her 2016 presidential loss on everyone but herself, including FBI Director James Comey, Wikileaks, and Russia.  Today, the overly liberal panel on ‘The View’ weighed in on her claims.

The conversation took a confrontational tone when conservative co-host Jedediah Bila suggested that Clinton lost because “she lied to people.”

“Every time I see her do an interview I’m waiting for a moment when she just doesn’t blame anyone but herself and acknowledges why she lost,” Bila said. “The reason why she lost was that her foreign policy at the State Department was a disaster,” she continued. “Her intervention in Libya led to terrorist havens and the infiltration of ISIS. She lost because she picked a bad vice presidential candidate. She didn’t do proper ground work in states like Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. She lied to people!”

Her statement didn’t go over well with uber-liberal Whoopi Goldberg.

Goldberg interrupted Bila without fear or hesitation.  “Don’t bring up the lying,” Goldberg said.  The Trump-hating Goldberg continued, “Don’t bring up the lying to people. Let’s not put lies in it, ’cause if we’re going to compare —”

Co-host, Sara Haines, offered some support to Bila.

“I think there was a moment after the election where so many of us stopped after looking at the polls and buildup and went, ‘What did we miss?’ ” Haines said. “In some ways, I think she might still be missing some of it. I think there were messaging problems. She wasn’t on the ground.”

Sunny Hostin agreed that Comey and hacking by Russia, then she took the conversation into the realm of race.

“This was a whitelash,” Hostin explained. “There’ve been studies. Twenty percent of people voted because of racism, and I think after eight years of a black president, there was no way that this woman was going to win.”

Back in November, Goldberg made a similar assertion. “You can say that there was no whitelash; there was a little bit of whitelash. I remember. I was there. I watched what’s happened in America over the last eight years,” Goldberg said at the time.
