Fans of “The View” know that liberal co-host Joy Behar adores Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.). During Wednesday’s airing of the program, Behar welcomed Sanders with a gushing introduction, including a declaration that the vociferous redhead finds the cantankerous senator “hot.”
“And what’s not to like?” Behar asked during the introduction. “He’s tireless. He’s conscientious. He’s dedicated. And, let’s face it, he’s hot.”
She then welcomed her “hero, Senator Bernie Sanders.”
During a previous airing of “The View” in October, 2015, Behar likewise announced that she’d found herself “aroused” by Sanders after a Democratic debate. At the time, she said he was “eye candy — not ear candy, eye candy.”
It appears the host still find Sanders attractive, and Sanders enjoyed the attention, telling Behar, “Joy, flattery will get you everywhere, you know.”
Behar then gleefully asked him about, what else, Russia. Behar asked, “Do you see any smoking gun here at all?”
Sanders answered that there was “evidence of a possibility of collusion,” and stated his belief that the investigative process should continue.
Sanders also answered a question about the possibility of a 2020 presidential run. He said he’s touring the states in opposition to Trump’s policies and is focused on continuing that, at the moment.
At the end of the segment, Behar truly hit home with “feel the bern” obsession by introducing her new dog, which she named “Bernie.”
