On the day the college football champion Clemson Tigers made the traditional championship White House visit, another champion was crowned, who might not make the trip at all.

The Golden State Warriors were named NBA champions Monday night, after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in 5 games in the NBA Finals. But the team doesn’t appear to have much love for the President.

“All the tactics that he used to get elected are the very things someone like me, who works with youth on a consistent basis, are the things that we try to talk our young folks out of doing,” said forward David West earlier this year.

Head coach Steve Kerr has been very outspoken about his feelings toward Trump, particularly his travel ban. Star Warrior Stephen Curry channeled his inner diplomat when he referred to Trump as “an asset…without the et.”

CNBC analyst Josh Brown tweeted the team has already decided not to visit.

Adding to the story is the fact this is the team’s second championship in three years, and photographer Pete Souza isn’t letting Trump forget how much fun the team had with Obama two years ago.

Before basketball, first came science. Congrats Steph Curry and the Warriors (especially Kevin Durant).
