Twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton took a jab at First Daughter Ivanka Trump on Dutch TV last week. According to The Washington Free Beacon, Clinton said any dreams Ivanka may have of being the country’s first female president won’t happen, adding that there is no need to put “more inexperienced Trumps” in office.
Clinton also said American’s had been fooled by President Donald Trump, who she called “a reality-TV candidate.”
From the Beacon: Hillary Clinton shot down the idea of Ivanka Trump being President of the United States, a rumor that was written about in Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury.”
During an interview flagged by Newsweek, Clinton sat down with Dutch public broadcasting company KRO-NCRV where she was told the daughter of the president, Ivanka Trump, wants to be the first female President of the United States.
“That’s not going to happen,” Clinton said.
“No?” the interviewer responded.
“No,” Clinton said, shaking her head. “No, we don’t want any more inexperienced Trumps in the White House.”
Host Eva Jinek said she’s learned elections can bring the unexpected.
“Well, that’s true, but you know, fool me once shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. And I think the American people have seen for themselves what happens when a reality-TV candidate wins,” Clinton said.
When asked whether Ivanka Trump will make good on her desire to become the 1st female President of the United States, Hillary Clinton did not miss a beat in this brilliant dead-pan. HRC has emerged post-election as the voice of the Resistance IMHO. Whether people admit it or not. pic.twitter.com/19hCGJoalt
