Prior to President Trump’s swearing in, the official White House website had a lengthy information page about climate change threats and actions to take in efforts to fight it. At exactly 12:00 p.m., the time President Trump took the oath of office, the information vanished.
The White House’s website, www.whitehouse.gov, and all of its functions, customarily switch over to the new administration exactly at noon.
The only mention of climate on President Trump’s website on his “America First Energy Plan.” The page discusses how it will dismantle former President Obama’s climate plan.
“President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule,” the site says. The website which made no mention of “global warming,” were archived pages that led to scrubbed pages.
