White House puts out statement about end of Ramadan

The White House released a statement to Muslims around the world on Saturday.  The statement recognized Eid al-Fitr, also known as the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In the statement, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump extend their warm regards to Muslims celebrating Eid al-Fitr, and noted that the day reminds them of the “importance of mercy, passion, and goodwill.”
