Plagued by internal leaks, President Trump must be considering an overhaul of his White House staff, and indicated that the situation is coming to a head through a series of recent tweets in which he lashed out at the “fake news” media.

“British Prime Minister May was very angry that the info the U.K. gave to U.S. about Manchester was leaked,” tweeted Trump on Sunday, who also noted that “many of the leaks coming out of the White House are fabricated lies.”

Trump also pointed out that anonymous sources likely denote “fake news”. He tweeted, “Whenever you see the words ‘sources say’ in the fake news media, and they don’t mention names, it is very possible that those sources don’t exist but are made up by fake news writers. #FakeNews is the enemy!”

One story out of ABC News tried to explain the reason why so many reports today use unnamed sources, saying, “Even when authorized, top officials in the Trump White House frequently request anonymity to brief reporters ‘on background,’ meaning their names will not be disclosed.”

It’s been reported that Trump’s longtime lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, is now part of a legal team that is currently being put together to help the president deal with all of the factions currently working against him.

News outlets, including ABC News, which quoted “a person told of the conversations” are trying to figure out the president’s next moves, throwing out names of people he might use to replace his current staffers, such as former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, and former deputy campaign manager, David Bossie.

Using third-party sources might work for ABC, but the president prefers to bypass them for direct communications with the people of the United States through social media, and he knows how much they hate that.
