The wife of a Florida power couple has referred to President Trump’s election as the “straw that broke the camel’s back” in her relationship with a Democrat.
Appearing on Fox News anchor Jesse Watters’ show Watters’ World, Lynn Aronberg said she filed for divorce from her husband, Democratic Florida state attorney Dave Aronberg, after their difference of opinion over President Trump drove them apart.
“The conflict was too much,” Aronberg said. “It was basically the straw that broke the camel’s back.”
Dave Aronberg has a staunchly liberal base, and they made their feelings clear about his wife’s visits to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. Lynn said the “backlash he received from his far left base” eventually poisoned Dave’s feelings toward her, which was a mutual occurrence. She recalled being upset by her husband’s supporters “outside marching and rioting” at Mar-a-Lago, where she was staying.
She was very forward with the overall direct cause of their divorce case as well, saying they were splitting up because of President Trump and no other marital problems.
