On Tuesday, Warner Bros. announced the action-packed superhero movie, “Wonder Woman 2” will hit theaters on Dec. 13, 2019. This will be the sequel to “Wonder Woman,” which was released this year on June 2.
“Wonder Woman” star and former Israeli soldier Gal Gadot is set to play her role as Diana of Themyscira again. However, the director for the movie is still undecided. Patty Jenkins is in the middle of negotiations for the job and expected to return.
Jenkins’ “Wonder Woman” is still raking it in at the box office, with over $389.7 million earned in North American theaters. The movie tallied $103,251,471 (USA) its opening weekend.
It recently surpassed “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” to become the top domestic earner of the summer movie season and the second-highest of the year, behind “Beauty and the Beast.”
