YouTuber Pranks Leftists Protesting Trump’s Immigration Ban (Video)

Noted YouTube star Joey Salads confronted liberals taking part in LAX airport protests in early February.

During the five minute video, no person he asked to help shelter hypothetical refugees accepted his request.

On Jan 27, President Donald Trump signed Executive Order 13769 labeled “Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States.” The legislation temporarily blocked immigration from seven predominantly Muslim countries (Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia and Libya) for 90 days.

The weekend that followed featured protests from across the nation at various high-profile airports, including Los Angeles International Airport. Veteran prankster and former Vine star Joey Salads disguised himself as a modern liberal voter in order to question the legitimacy of the LAX protesters.

Joseph Saladino, aka “Joey Salads” walked around LAX with a clipboard asking for donations while also pretending to seek shelter for “impending” refugees. Of the recorded responses, Saladino found no person willing to house Muslim strangers. Those he interacted with mentioned living space, fiscal resources and unsupportive housemates as reasons against taking in a Muslim refugee.
