President Joe Biden joked about his age on his 81st birthday and then appeared to mix up the names of two pop superstars.
Speaking at the 76th annual White House turkey pardon, Biden began by thanking the owners of the two turkeys, named Liberty and Bell, who hail from a farm in Minnesota.
“By the way. It’s my birthday today, and [the turkey owners] actually sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to me,” Biden said. “I just want you to know it’s difficult turning 60.”
Biden turned 81 on Monday.

Then Biden quipped that the turkeys, Liberty and Bell, had traveled over 1,000 miles to get to the White House, and bizarrely seemed to confuse Taylor Swift with Britney Spears.
“You could say this is even harder than getting a ticket to [Beyonce’s] Renaissance Tour or Britney’s tour… she’s down in — it’s kind of warm in Brazil right now,” he stammered.
