After taking control of Afghanistan, the Talian has now reportedly painted over murals in front of the former U.S. Embassy in Kabul.
The entrance to the property now features a massive Taliban flag.
Emma Graham-Harrison, a writer for The Guardian, shared a photo of the new painting of the Taliban flag.

In a Twitter post on May 27, 2019, the U.S. Embassy Kabul had announced, “#Afghanistan & USA have shared a close friendship for almost 100 years. In 2016, Public Affairs Officer Terry Davidson and Cultural Affairs Officer Stephanie Kuck help the non-profit group ArtLords paint a mural at the embassy walls.”
