NORTH PORT, Florida — Brian Laundrie, the tight-lipped boyfriend of missing Long Island native Gabby Petito, is now missing himself, and hasn’t been seen for days.

Laundrie’s lawyer said his client’s whereabouts are unknown, and said the FBI is now looking for both Gabby and Brian, Florida police told The Post.

The article goes on to state the following:

“His family has reported that they have not seen Brian as of Tuesday,” Josh Taylor, a public information officer for the North Port Police said.Police were called to the Laundrie’s North Port Florida home at his family’s request to talk with them Friday evening. One of the officers entered the home with what appeared to be an evidence bag as protesters surrounding the property yelled “bring him out!”

After multiple officers were seen entering the Laundrie family home Friday evening, the police department announced on Twitter, “North Port Police are currently speaking with the Laundrie Family at their request. At this time, we are not speaking with Brian. More details when available.”

Nearly two hours later, Chief Todd Garrison tweeted, “The conversation at the Laundrie home is complete. Once we have the details, a statement will be made. We ask for calm! Please let us work through this and information will be forthcoming.”

Fox13 reporter Evan Axelbank, who was one of the many media members waiting outside the home, reported that the Laundrie family attorney stated that the whereabouts of Brian Laundrie are currently unknown.

“The FBI is currently at the Laundrie residence removing property to assist in locating Brian. As of now the FBI is now looking for both Gabby and Brian,” the reporter tweeted.

Earlier, Axelbank said police came out and announced that Brian is NOT in the home and is NOT in police custody.  The family’s lawyer invited police because they “want to talk about Brian.” There is NOT a search warrant on home or car they looked in briefly,” he said.

  1. No kidding? Who woulda thunk???? Geezus. Nobody thought it was a good idea to monitor his movements? He went on a trip with someone and came back alone and didn’t tell anybody. In police work that’s considered a clue. He’s probably swimming to Cuba at the moment. He already lives in a socialist country so Cuba won’t be much different.

  2. His family and his lawyer have known he was missing since Tuesday and didn’t report it until Friday isn’t that called aiding and abetting?

  3. I have a couple of questions here. Why did her family wait so long to report her missing? And when the boyfriend came back w/o her, why wasn’t he brought in for questioning? It’s not like he only lost a shoe, a whole human is missing!!

  4. The lawyer stashed him somewhere.
I agree why wasn’t someone sitting on the house to watch him.
He doesn’t have a job, he does have money , nor a car. His face is everywhere.
He cannot get anywhere without help from family . If he is Cuban and fled the country the CIA will find him.
So the family that “ loved Gabby” did nothing to help a family find closure as to they last place Gabby was seen.
The police have probably cause and his family are covering up for him.
    That is aiding and abetting.
Arrest them until his is brought back to the states.
    What a tool.
