The Metro Nashville Police Department released a video Monday night of surveillance footage showing the moment a female shooter drove into the Covenant School parking lot and shot out the doors, allowing her to enter the building.

The shooter, identified as 28-year-old Audrey Hale, a biological female using he/him pronouns, killed three 9-year-old children and 3 school staff members in less than 15 minutes, before police rushed in and shot her dead.

Police have identified the victims as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, all age 9, substitute teacher Cynthia Peak, age 61, school headmistress Katherine Koonce, age 60, and custodian Mike Hill, age 61.

In the newly-released surveillance footage, Hale is seen driving into the parking lot.

Armed with two assault-style rifles, a handgun, and “significant ammunition,” Hale then shot out the glass entry doors and walked right into the building.

She is seen walking through the hallways looking for victims.  The video does not include any footage of the shooting itself.

Police also released photos of Hale’s vehicle and weapons Monday night.

“As officers responded to the Covenant campus, Hale fired on arriving police vehicles from a 2nd story window,” police said.
