Today is Monday, Nov. 18, and here are the stories I am following:

1 – California shooting at NFL-watch party leaves 4 dead, 6 wounded. A backyard gathering of football fans turned into a bloodbath after gunfire broke out in Fresno, Calif., on Sunday night. The shooting left four people dead and six wounded, according to police. Three of the dead were killed at the scene while a fourth victim died in a local hospital. Responding Fresno police officers were going door to door in the neighborhood, in hopes of collecting security camera footage or witness accounts, Fresno’s FOX 26 reported. They were looking for leads to help them locate “unknown suspects.”

DML: The California governor should worry more about his state, which is completely out of control, than protecting the illegals in his state.

2 – ABC News must explain why it spiked Epstein story, House Republicans say in letter. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and two other top Republicans sent a letter to ABC News on Sunday demanding the network explain why it “quashed” ABC News anchor Amy Robach’s story that would have exposed allegations against the now-deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein three years ago. The letter, to ABC News President James Goldston, was first reported by Megyn Kelly, formerly of Fox News. House Foreign Affairs Committee Ranking Member Mike McCaul of Texas and House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Doug Collins of Georgia also signed it.

DML: Facebook actually uses ABC News as one of its fact checkers – imagine that!

3 – California’s unprecedented law requiring all public companies headquartered there to have at least one female board member by 2020 is drawing lawsuits, reports Axios’ Courtenay Brown. Pressure to diversify corporate boards has historically come from shareholders and special interest groups. With California’s law poised to take effect and at least three states weighing similar legislation critics are raising the question of government overreach. The law sets a penalty of $100,000 in fines for public companies that don’t have at least one woman board member.

DML: I revert to my earlier comment about California.

4 – Pelosi invites Trump to testify as new witness. Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi invited President Donald Trump to testify in front of investigators in the House impeachment inquiry ahead of a week that will see several key witnesses appear publicly.

DML: I have a million bucks on Trump not showing up.

5 – It’s back on her feet. A member of team DML is back on feet after using DML pure CBD. I received the email from the 62-year-old grandmother who said that the inflammation in her feet on a daily basis kept her from walking the amount that she used to. But after three months of taking DML pure CBD all of that pain and inflammation is gone. She says she’s back to walking a mile and a half each morning and 2 miles after lunch how wonderful is that.
