1. Riley Gaines blasts SF State faculty member who called protests at heart of incident ‘peaceful’
FoxNews–NCAA champion swimmer Riley Gaines blasted a San Francisco State University faculty member following an email sent to students that depicted a “peaceful” protest after her speech Thursday turned violent.

Gaines said she was verbally and physically assaulted by the pro-transgender protesters, which led to her being barricaded in a classroom for three hours. Gaines also noted that she was punched, shoved and hit by the protesters before being barricaded.

But SF State’s vice president for student affairs and enrollment management, Jamillah Moore, sent an email that made no mention of an apology to Gaines, or the acts following her speech about saving women’s sports to the university’s chapter of Turning Point USA.

“Let me begin by saying clearly: the trans community is welcome and belongs at San Francisco State University. Further, our community fiercely believes in unity, connection, care and compassion, and we value different ideas even when they are not our own,” Moore wrote.

Ryan Lynch: Nothing happens to the transgender when they act out in violence. No arrests or punishments. We are teaching them that they can act and do whatever they want with no repercussions. It needs to change.

2. Leaked Pentagon papers predict Ukrainian’s air defenses will be exhausted by MAY 23, leaving Putin free to send in fighter jets – as it’s feared latest $2bn US aid won’t be enough to save Zelensky’s army
DailyMail–Ukraine’s air defense systems could be depleted by the beginning of next month amid heavy fighting against Russian forces, according to what appear to be leaked Pentagon documents.

A large cache of highly classified Pentagon documents that appear to detail classified information including how Ukraine’s S-300 air defense systems could run out of missiles and ammunition by May 2 at the current usage rate have appeared online in recent days.

The documents also detailed how Ukraine’s air defenses protecting Ukrainian troops on the front line could be ‘completely reduced’ by May 23.

Ryan Lynch: This is scary because Biden might send massive amounts of aid. Without air defense Ukraine is put into a massive disadvantage.

3.China ends Taiwan drills after practising blockades, precision strikes
Reuters–China ended three days of military drills around Taiwan on Monday saying they had tested integrated military capabilities under actual combat conditions, having practised precision strikes and blockading the island that Beijing views as its own.

Beijing announced the drills on Saturday, after Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen returned to Taipei following a meeting in Los Angeles with U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

China has never renounced the use of force to bring the democratically-governed island under Beijing’s control. Taiwan’s government strongly disputes China’s claims and has denounced the drills.

Ryan Lynch: Do you think China will undergo any military action against Taiwan within the next two years? Let us know in the comment section.

4. Report: Biden Recruits ‘Army of Influencers’ for 2024 Race
BREITBART–President Joe Biden, who has yet to officially announce he is running for reelection, is reportedly going to rely on an “army” of online “influencers” for his reelection campaign and they could have their own “briefing room” at the White House.

The president’s campaign seeks to “boost Biden’s standing among young voters who are crucial to Democrats’ success in elections” and will be used to counter former President Donald Trump’s “massive social media following” if he is the nominee, Axios reported.

The report noted that the president’s digital strategy team would like to connect with influencers across the county to help Biden tout his record to those who do not follow the social media accounts of Biden, the White House, or the Democratic Party. Reportedly, there are four Biden digital staffers — run by Rob Flaherty, who has been named assistant to the president and will hold the same rank as press secretary — focused on influencers and independent content creators on the White House payroll, not the Biden campaign.

Ryan Lynch: Biden is building a propaganda machine to brainwash our children and the young voter.

5. Bud Light’s marketing VP says she was inspired to update ‘fratty,’ ‘out of touch’ branding with inclusivity
FoxNews–Bud Light’s vice president of marketing discussed in a recent interview how she was inspired to update the “fratty” and “out of touch” humor of the beer company with inclusivity.

Alissa Heinerscheid did an interview with the podcast “Make Yourself At Home” on March 30, where she discussed her work in transforming the Bud Light brand.

“I’m a businesswoman, I had a really clear job to do when I took over Bud Light, and it was ‘This brand is in decline, it’s been in a decline for a really long time, and if we do not attract young drinkers to come and drink this brand there will be no future for Bud Light,'” Heinerscheid said.

Ryan Lynch: She should be fired. Bud Lights image is now tarnished. Instead of associating Bud Light with a good time I now think about how they support the mutilation of our youth. I don’t think Bud Light will ever fully recover from this and a part of me hopes they don’t. Because these companies need to see what happens when you promote this CR**.
