1 – House reconvenes to vote on Biden’s spending bill after marathon McCarthy speech
Fox News reports: The House of Representatives reconvened at 8 a.m. Friday morning after Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., delayed the votes planned Thursday night with his marathon speech.

The House only adjourned at 5:11 a.m., meaning the floor was closed for less than three hours between the end of McCarthy’s speech and when Democrats brought lawmakers back to pass their reconciliation bill.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi D-Calif., said on the House floor Friday morning that Democrats are making history by passing their massive reconciliation spending bill.

“In his remarks our Democratic leader, Mr. Hoyer, talked about the pride we take in telling our children and our grandchildren that we were here present to pass the Build Back Better legislation,” Pelosi added.

“Under this dome for centuries, members of Congress has stood exactly where we stand to pass legislation of extraordinary consequence in our nation’s history,” she also said. “We, this Democratic Congress are taking our place in a long and honorable heritage of our democracy with legislation that will be the pillar of health and financial security in America.”

DML: Well, get ready to say good-bye to MORE of your tax dollars. We MUST get back GOP majority next year! Our freedom and our future depends on it!

2 – Biden to Undergo Routine Physical Exam Friday
The Wall Street Journal reports: WASHINGTON—President Biden will travel to Walter Reed Medical Center on Friday morning for a routine annual physical examination, according to the White House, his first such exam as president.

Mr. Biden, who turns 79 years old on Saturday, is the oldest serving U.S. president in history.

U.S. presidents have long received medical care at Walter Reed in Maryland. They typically undergo a series of tests to measure their physical well-being, including tests that measure blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

DML: What about a cognitive exam? Why aren’t Democrats demanding it just like they did for Trump?

3 – MSNBC’s Joy Reid dismisses that inflation is affecting the economy, accuses GOP of seizing on the issue
Fox News reports: MSNBC anchor Joy Reid joined her colleague Stephanie Ruhle in arguing that inflation is not, in fact, an issue in the economy.

On Wednesday, “The ReidOut” host discussed the growing fears over rising inflation affecting the economy. However, Reid immediately framed concerns over inflation as a Republican talking point.

“So Republicans want you to believe the economy isn’t doing well, that it’s terrible. Unemployment is at the lowest point since the pandemic began. Prices are higher, which is never good, but Americans are spending a record amount of money that was pent up during the pandemic, which economics 101 will tell you drives prices up, aka inflation,” Reid explained.

She also appeared to shift some blame onto Americans for feeling pessimistic simply because “things cost a little more.”

DML: Just can’t make this stuff up! They actually PAY her to say this stuff?

4 – Kennedy jousts with Biden banking nominee: ‘I don’t know whether to call you professor or comrade’
The Washington Examiner reports: Sen. John Kennedy traded verbal blows with Saule Omarova, President Joe Biden’s nominee for top banking regulator, during a Senate Banking Committee hearing on Thursday.

Biden nominated Omarova, a law professor at Cornell University, to run the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, which regulates assets held by banks. Her supporters argued Omarova would ensure a fair banking system, while her critics questioned some of her academic writings, including a proposal theorizing a federal banking system that critics said would undercut private banks.

Omarova grew up in Kazakhstan, which was in the former Soviet Union. She came to the United States as an exchange student from Moscow State University but was stranded when the Soviet Union dissolved. Omarova is now a U.S. citizen and worked as a special adviser in the Treasury Department during the George W. Bush administration.

“This is America. I don’t mean any disrespect. I don’t know whether to call you professor or comrade,” he said.

DML: Well, I sure wouldn’t call her “comrade.”

5 – Parents who sued to stop school mask mandates doxed by board member
Fox News reports: A member of the Fort Worth, Texas, school board’s Racial Equity Committee doxxed parents by publishing their addresses and phone numbers online.

“She doxxed us. … She said, ‘Internet do your thing.’ I got 17 voicemails at my work from one person,” Kerri Rehmeyer, a Fort Worth mother who sued the school district to block a mask mandate, told Fox News. She was referencing Norma Garcia-Lopez, the co-chair of the Racial Equity Committee at Fort Worth Independent School District.

Garcia-Lopez does not serve on the school board, but the Racial Equity Committee advises the board. A board member appointed her to the committee, and some board members serve with her on the committee.

Rehmeyer also alleged that Garcia-Lopez had left her a profanity-laced voicemail message.

Rehmeyer told Fox News that Garcia-Lopez had singled her out because she and other parents oppose critical race theory (CRT) – a framework that involves deconstructing aspects of society to discover systemic racism beneath the surface – and because they sued the school district, challenging the COVID-19 mask mandate.

  1. Is Joy Reid really this stupid, or are they testing her to see how much ignorance they can make her say in one show? What a good, little communist!

    • They’re no longer a Democratic Party.
What they’re called now is “socialist Communist party” they threw the election in 2020. They committed treason by actually over throwing our Government.
We are at war with these scum bags.
It’s coming to the very soon. People are seeing what happening. It’s about time.

  2. I hope they xray his head to see if his brain has shrunken or water on the brain. I can tell you he doesn’t want Trump to meet him for a punch fest. I think a 2 year old child could beat him up. His legs and arms have atrophied so he can barely waddle off the stage.

  3. Reid would be a perfect person to play the role in Dumb & Dumber. However it will be difficult to choose which Democrat to put in the co-lead. Maybe we should do a soap opera called the Stupid and Communist of the democrat party and another one called Which news network loves the ccp more.

I was hoping not to get mad today but that’s not happening

Now all we need is the woman be put in over the Commerce so we can have a banking system just like ccp . Prove me wrong morons who support this bull 💩

  4. As far as Joy Reid is concerned, if the Socialist Democrats are PAYING her to say all the ignorant stuff that comes out of her mouth, then she’s too stupid to realize that she’s being used by the Communist Democrats. I guess she thinks by saying all the things they want her to say, she’ll be promoted into a top notch position within the Biden administration. What a dunce.
