1 – NY Times blasted for defending ‘pornography literacy’ for first graders: ‘These people are sick’
Fox News reports: Concerned parents and media critics swatted the New York Times on Thursday after the newspaper heralded Justine Ang Fonte, a New York teacher who recently became infamous for her sexual education curriculum for children and young adults, as a “sex-positive educator,” and called her lessons “pornography literacy.”
For seven years, Fonte was the director of health and wellness at the Dalton School on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. In May, she was invited to teach two Zoom lessons on “pornography literacy and consent” to juniors and seniors at the Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School on the Upper West Side. Those lessons reportedly included some “masturbation” images, outraging parents and eventually leading to her resignation.
But the Times had a different viewpoint on the controversy and appeared to provide Fonte some backup.
“Pornography literacy classes are supposed to teach students how to critically assess what they see on the screen,” the Times tweeted, with a link to its report from Style reporter Valeriya Safronova. “But when a sex-positive educator taught her curriculum at two elite New York City schools recently, some parents were outraged.”

2 – ‘We’re Coming For Your Children’: Gay Men’s Choir Deletes Music Video Amid Backlash
The Daily Caller reports: The San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus removed a music video from their public YouTube channel titled “A Message From the Gay Community,” in which the group sings “we’re coming for your children.”
The chorus released a statement July 1, claiming that the intent was “tongue-in-cheek humor,” also alleging that the chorus has reached out to law enforcement about hate messages and “threats of harm.”
“Gen Z’s gayer than Grindr…We’re coming for them. We’re coming for your children… The gay agenda is here,” the chorus group sang, appearing to make fun of parents who are concerned for their children with the push of LGBTQ agenda by the media, according to the initial report by Not the Bee July 7. While the video is no longer available on their official YouTube channel, it can be found on Rumble.

The chorus mocked the “right wing trolls” objecting to their video.
And the lyrics (2 pages): An obvious parody that uses the provactive phrase to talk about teaching children not to hate #loveislove #PrideMonth #LoveWins Don’t let right wing trolls taking phrases out of context win this one pic.twitter.com/YsdqRKwqgK

3 – Senate GOP campaign arm to run ads against Warnock during MLB games
The Hill reports: The National Republican Senatorial Committee said that it was going to run an ad during two Major League Baseball games aimed at Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) that highlights his refusal to oppose the MLB’s decision to move its All-Star Game from Atlanta to Denver.
“Baseball’s midsummer classic: The All Star game. The $100 million boost to Georgia’s economy, until the radical left woke crowd took it all away, forcing the MLB to boycott Georgia. Even Stacey Abrams opposed the boycott, but Senator Warnock refused to oppose it,” the ad said.
The ad subsequently plays a clip of Warnock on CNN during an interview with Dana Bash as he says, “I think we all have to use our voices.”
Warnock had praised MLB’s decision to move the game from Atlanta to Denver, in protest of Georgia’s new voting laws which requires voter ID.

4 – School district pushes grade schoolers to read books about ‘White privilege,’ ‘Whiteness’
Fox News reports: A public school district in Massachusetts included books about “White privilege” and “Whiteness” in a recommended summer reading list for grade school students.
Belmont Public Schools, located in a Boston suburb, includes a list titled “Race, Culture, and Activism” of suggested books for students from kindergarten through fifth grade to read over the summer.
The reading list includes the book “Not my Idea: A Book About Whiteness,” in which the devil approaches the main character with a “Contract Binding you to Whiteness.”
The imaginary terms offer “stolen land,” “stolen riches” and “special favors.” It adds that “WHITENESS gets” “your soul” and “to mess endlessly with the lives of your friends, neighbors, loved ones and all fellow humans of COLOR.” The end contains a section for signature and notes “[l]and, riches and favors may be revoked at any time, for any reason.”
The reading list also includes “Race Cars: A Children’s Book About White Privilege.” The book “tells the story of 2 best friends, a white car and a black car, that have different experiences and face different rules while entering the same race,” according to its Amazon description.
