1.North Korea-linked hackers behind $100 million crypto heist, FBI says
CNBC -North Korean-linked actors were behind the theft of $100 million through the hack of a crypto product last year, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said.

The FBI said it was “able to confirm” that Lazarus Group and APT38, two hacking groups linked to Pyongyang, were responsible for the attack on the so-called Horizon bridge in 2022.

Traders use a bridge to swap cryptocurrencies between different blockchain networks.

The FBI also said that the North Korean cyber actors this month used the Railgun system to launder over $60 million worth of the token ether stolen during the June 2022 heist. Railgun is a system designed to help preserve the anonymity of people moving cryptocurrency.

DML: We should just blow up that country once and for all. And we can start by sticking a hand grenade up the two hole of its little Napoleon-complex leader.

2.Service members forced to pay back signing bonuses after being fired over COVID vax: ‘Kick in the face’
Fox News – U.S. service members who were fired for refusing to comply with the Pentagon’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate are now being forced to pay back their original recruitment bonuses, which they tell Fox News Digital is a “kick in the face” after years of dedicating their lives to protecting the country.

One former Army soldier who was fired for refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine last May told Fox News Digital that he would have to pay back his original signing bonus upon his termination from the military because he did not complete the commitment in his contract.

The soldier had signed a contract with the Army for six years and received a $7,000 bonus. However, because he fell short of the six years, the military notified him that he owed the government a prorated amount of slightly over $4,000. In order to pay it back, he ended up having to “sell” 60 of his unused vacation days to cover the amount owed.

DML: Unreal! And the Army wonders why it has a recruitment issue, falling short by 15,000 in new members last year alone. I did a really eye-opening podcast about the woke military last week with Lt Col Tony Shaffer. It is worth listening to. Click here to listen.

3.Four men are arrested over rape of LSU sorority student, 19
DailyMail.com – Four people have been arrested in connection with the rape and death of a student Louisiana State University student – who was attacked and then struck by a car.

Madison ‘Madi’ Brooks, 19, was hit by the vehicle on January 15 and died later in a hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

On Monday night the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office brought several individuals into custody on suspicion of rape in connection with Brooks’ death. Two individuals, a 17-year-old and 18-year-old Kaivon Washington have been arrested and charged with third-degree rape. In addition, 18-year-old Casen Carver and 28-year-old Everett Lee were also arrested and charged as accomplices to third-degree rape.

DML: Let me say without pause, if this is my daughter, those POS punks don’t make it to the court house.

4. Dog shoots man: Kansas deputy finds 32-year-old hunter dead in his car
DailyMail – A 32-year-old Kansas hunter was found dead in his car on Saturday, with sheriffs concluding that he was killed when his dog stepped on the trigger of his rifle.

The unnamed man from Wichita was found near the hamlet of Geuda Springs, 50 miles south of Wichita and home to 194 people just north of the Oklahoma border.

Sheriffs believe he died at around 9:40am.

DML: This is what you call a freak accident. RIP.

5. 7 dead in mass shooting in CA
WSJ – At least seven people were killed in two related shootings in California on Monday, authorities said, only days after a separate mass shooting in the state killed 11 people.

The related shootings Monday occurred at two agricultural nurseries near Half Moon Bay, a coastal city south of San Francisco, Christina Corpus, sheriff of San Mateo County, said Monday evening.

Officials said a suspect was in custody and there was no ongoing threat to the community.

The shootings were a targeted attack in which the gunman intended to kill specific people, according to a law-enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation.

DML: California is a toilet bowl. And it appears those gun control laws are doing nothing.

  1. The dog incident was not freak accident it was blatant stupid and unsafe gun handling. You should never have a loaded gun in car while hunting.

  2. 2) Service members and veterans have never been paid enough, treated fairly or respectfully for the sacrifices they make for the safety and services of country.
3)Did anyone bother to think that maybe this young innocent victim was forced to guzzle the .319% alcohol intake? And why does her alcohol level seem to justify anything on her part to blame… she was brutally raped and murdered. That’s the crime and those who are guilty should serve the harshest punishment. This continues to happen more often than should. A harsher punishment is much needed for those who commit or partake in such a heinous crime.
    5) My thought…who’s really behind these mass shootings?
