Today is July 21 and I am Dennis Michael Lynch. Below are my opinions on the stories grabbing headlines this morning. I hope you share this briefing as doing so will make you the smartest person in the room, in my opinion. 1.US life expectancy in 2020 saw biggest drop since WWII
Fox News – U.S. life expectancy fell by a year and a half in 2020, the largest one-year decline since World War II, public health officials said Wednesday. The decrease for both Black Americans and Hispanic Americans was even worse: three years.
The drop spelled out by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is due mainly to the COVID-19 pandemic, which health officials said is responsible for close to 74% of the overall life expectancy decline. More than 3.3 million Americans died last year, far more than any other year in U.S. history, with COVID-19 accounting for about 11% of those deaths.
Black life expectancy has not fallen so much in one year since the mid-1930s, during the Great Depression. Health officials have not tracked Hispanic life expectancy for nearly as long, but the 2020 decline was the largest recorded one-year drop.
Life expectancy is an estimate of the average number of years a baby born in a given year might expect to live. It’s an important statistical snapshot of a country’s health that can be influenced both by sustained trends such as obesity as well as more temporary threats like pandemics or war that might not endanger those newborns in their lifetimes.
For decades, U.S. life expectancy was on the upswing. But that trend stalled in 2015, for several years, before hitting 78 years, 10 months in 2019. Last year, the CDC said, it dropped to about 77 years, 4 months.
DML: Don’t go buying into the COVID story. The idiots who push for lockdowns and mandates want the excuse to be COVID. But the study shows that killers other than COVID-19 played a role. Drug overdoses pushed life expectancy down, particularly for whites. And rising homicides were a significant reason for the decline for Black Americans. Other problems affected Black and Hispanic people, including lack of access to quality health care, more crowded living conditions, and a greater share of the population in lower-paying jobs that required them to keep working when the pandemic was at its worst, experts said. Nobody may want to admit it, but how many people died because they wore masks. Lung issues, other diseases and pathogens captured on those masks had to play a role. How many people died because they couldn’t get a damn doctors appointment! COVID the disease ain’t the reason; COVID the scaredemic is the reason in my opinion. And if we want the overcrowding living conditions to stop, shut the damn border and Latinos will live longer.
2.Biden launches first airstrike in Somalia targeting Al-Shabaab terrorists
Daily Mail – The U.S. military conducted an airstrike against Al-Qaeda affiliated Al-Shabaab jihadists on Tuesday, the first airstrike in the country since President Joe Biden took office, the Pentagon said.
The US military command for Africa (AFRICOM), in coordination with the Somali government, ‘conducted one air strike in the vicinity of Galkayo, Somalia today against al-Shabaab,’ Pentagon spokeswoman Cindi King told AFP.
The strike, 430 miles northeast of Mogadishu, targeted Shabaab Islamists, King said.
DML: Joey boy is now in his comfort zone because Democrats of all kinds love war and violence, just look at Portland, Chicago, NYC, DC, and LA for examples. I have an idea, how about Joey send members of BLM and Antifa over to the Middle East and Somalia. Allow them to take our their pent up frustrations on the terrorists. Fight fire with fire, meaning use our terrorists to fight their terrorists.
3.Big infrastructure bill in peril as GOP threatens filibuster
AP News – The infrastructure deal senators brokered with President Joe Biden is hanging precariously ahead of a crucial Wednesday test vote as they struggle over how to pay for nearly $1 trillion in public works spending.
Tensions were rising as Republicans prepared to mount a filibuster over what they see as a rushed and misguided process. With Biden preparing to hit the road to rally support for his big infrastructure ideas — including some $3.5 trillion in a follow-up bill — restless Democrats say it’s time to at least start debate on this first phase of his proposals.
DML: Biden is clueless. He has to stop spending. Listen to this fool in the video below. I will playing on my podcast today.
4.WHO chief warns that the world is going into the ‘early stages of another wave’
CNBC – The world is in the early stages of another wave of Covid-19 infections and death, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Wednesday.
Speaking to International Olympic Committee members in Tokyo, Tedros said the global failure to share vaccines, tests and treatments is fueling a “two-track pandemic.” Countries that have adequate resources like vaccines are opening up, while others are locking down in a bid to slow the virus’ transmission.
Vaccine discrepancies around the world are masking a “horrifying injustice,” he added.
He warned that “19 months into the pandemic, and seven months since the first vaccines were approved, we are now in the early stages of another wave of infections and deaths.” Tedros added that the global threat of the pandemic will remain until all countries have a handle on the disease.
DML: Total bullsh*t. More rhetoric for the one world order to one day be led under China’s control. Don’t buy into it folks.
5. Senator Paul calls out Fauci
Dr. Anthony Fauci and Sen. Rand Paul traded accusations of “lying” about gain-of-function research at a Tuesday Senate hearing, continuing the long-running feud between the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director and the Kentucky senator.
Fauci and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky are also likely to face questions at a on whether the U.S. should bring back health measures like mask mandates as the delta COVID variant spreads around the country.
In his questioning of Fauci, Paul stepped close to the line of accusing Fauci of lying to Congress in previous testimony in which he said that the NIAID had never funded gain-of-function reasearch in China. Citing a paper on research about bat coronaviruses, Paul said that U.S. money had essentially gone to the hazardous and controversial reasearch – an assertion Fauci strongly objected to.

Dr. Fauci: “Senator Paul, you do not know what you are talking about, quite frankly, and I want to say that officially. You do not know what you are talking about.” pic.twitter.com/2wFbAxicI2

DML: Thank God for Senator Paul, but like Hillary Clinton the little runt know as the top infectious disease expert will never see a day behind bars — the mainstream media will never allow it. Most Americans have no idea about his lies because it won’t be reported.
My Parting Words: Fauci needs to read WebMD, because he is clearly lost. According to WedMD, the immune system is your body’s natural defense system. It’s an intricate network of cells, tissues, and organs that band together to defend your body against invaders. Those invaders can include bacteria, viruses, parasites, even a fungus, all with the potential to make us sick. They are everywhere – in our homes, offices, and backyards. a healthy immune system protects us by first creating a barrier that stops those invaders, or antigens, from entering the body. And if one slips by the barrier, the immune system produces white blood cells, and other chemicals and proteins that attack and destroy these foreign substances.
