1. Trump rips into Paul Ryan
DailyMail – Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform to launch a scathing attack on former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan Saturday.

The former president referred to Ryan, 52, as a ‘pathetic loser’ as he called for him to be ousted from the board of Fox News.

Trump’s social media post came after Ryan declared Republicans didn’t have ‘the guts’ to vote to impeach the former president in the wake of January 6.

DML: There’s a reason why most conservatives detest Ryan, he cannot be trusted in my opinion.

2.Russia hits Kyiv with missiles; Putin warns West on supplies
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Russia took aim at Western military supplies for Ukraine’s government with early Sunday airstrikes in Kyiv that it said destroyed tanks donated from abroad, as President Vladimir Putin warned that any Western deliveries of long-range rocket systems to Ukraine would prompt Moscow to hit “objects that we haven’t yet struck.”

The cryptic threat of a military escalation from the Russian leader didn’t specify what the new targets might be, but it comes days after the United States announced plans to deliver $700 million of security assistance for Ukraine that includes four precision-guided, medium-range rocket systems, helicopters, Javelin anti-tank weapon systems, radars, tactical vehicles, spare parts and more.

Military analysts say Russia is hoping to overrun the embattled eastern Donbas region, where Russia-backed separatists have fought the Ukrainian government for years, before any weapons that might turn the tide arrive. The Pentagon said earlier this week it will take at least three weeks to get the precision U.S. weapons and trained troops onto the battlefield.

DML: We shouldn’t be involved with the Russia /Ukraine mess.  Assuming Biden can’t get comfortable with my suggestion, then the only asset he should send to the area, if available, is Mr. Top Gun himself, Tom Cruise.  Send Tom over there in a F-18 and let him blow it all to ashes.  If Tom’s not willing to take on the mission because it’s impossible, then lets pull out of this entire mess and focus on the issues we have at home.  Side note: I will be hosting a special podcast today (Sunday) to discuss the film Top Gun Maverick.  If you have not seen it do not worry, I reveal nothing about the film’s details.  But the film is a must see even if you don’t like Cruise.  I explain why in the podcast.  You can listen here on The DML NEWS APP,, or subscribe to The Dennis Michael Lynch Podcast on Apple Podcasts.

3.Philadelphia mass shooting on South Street leaves 3 dead

Fox News – At least three people are dead in Philadelphia and nearly a dozen other victims have been injured during a shooting incident Saturday evening, according to multiple reports.

Authorities responded to the scene in the South Street neighborhood just before midnight, where they found multiple shooters, with one firing into a crowd of people, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Philadelphia Police Department Inspector D.F. Pace said 14 people had been shot, including three who died, per the outlet.

DML: Here is a huge shocker… Based on the videos circulating, the people in the video for the most part appear to be black. I wonder if Black Lives Matter would gain credibility if black people stopped killing each other.

4.U.S. will allow two companies to ship Venezuelan oil to Europe
HOUSTON/WASHINGTON, June 5 (Reuters) – Italian oil company Eni SpA and Spain’s Repsol SA could begin shipping Venezuelan oil to Europe as soon as next month to make up for Russian crude, five people familiar with the matter said, resuming oil-for-debt swaps halted two years ago when Washington stepped up sanctions on Venezuela.

The volume of oil Eni and Repsol are expected to receive is not large, one of the people said, and any impact on global oil prices will be modest. But Washington’s greenlight to resume Venezuela’s long-frozen oil flows to Europe could provide a symbolic boost for Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

DML: I did not graduate from college, so the suggestion I hereby place in writing may be deemed as uneducated, but why not produce the oil here in the US and then sell it abroad? Perhaps we could use the money to pay down our debts to China. And in the interim we could use most of the oil here in the US to lower the cost of gas for Americans. It’s just an idea.

5.CDC pushes vaccination boosters for kids
The Center for Disease Control posted a tweet on Saturday afternoon suggesting the following: “Everyone 5 years and older in the US is now eligible for a #COVID19 vaccine booster. Most children 5 to 11 years old should get their booster 5 months after finishing their initial vaccination series.”

DML: If you click the link on the tweet, here is what the CDC writes: “COVID-19 cases are increasing across the country, yet vaccination rates among children ages 5 through 11 years old continue to lag behind other age groups, which leaves them at increased risk for serious illness. As of June 1, 2022, 35.9% of children ages 5 through 11 years old have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, compared to 69.5% of children ages 12 through 17 years old. Since the pandemic began, more than 4.8 million children ages 5 through 11 years old have been diagnosed with COVID-19, 15,000 have been hospitalized, and almost 200 have died.”

Don’t forget that the CDC walked back it’s death count in March, stating “coding logic errors.”  In short, they over reported tens of thousands of deaths.  The data tracker error occurred “because CDC’s algorithm was accidentally counting deaths that were not covid-19 related,” said Jasmine Reed, public affairs specialist, according to
