  1. Texas to deploy inflatable border along Rio Grande River in Eagle Pass:

Fox News – Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced that an inflatable border was being installed along the Texas-Mexico border Thursday, to make it more difficult for illegal immigrants to enter the country.

The floating barriers are expected to deter illegal crossing at hotspots along the Rio Grande River, and the first 1,000 feet will be placed near Eagle Pass.

Photos of the inflatable barriers show what appear to be a string of connected inflatable spheres, that when someone attempts to scale them, spin.

According to a press release from Abbott’s office, the strategy of placing an inflatable barrier along the border will “proactively prevent illegal crossings between ports of entry by making it more difficult to cross the Rio Grande and reach the Texas side of the southern border.”

Denny’s Insight: Nifty device; where was this on May 11?

2. Ohio ‘anti-gay’ bill amended to allow parents to opt students out of ‘sexuality content’:

The Hill – COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Ohio lawmakers are advancing a bill allowing parents to opt their child of out school “sexuality” lessons, legislation opponents said is anti-LGBTQ+ and will force educators to out students.

House Bill 8 — the “Parents’ Bill of Rights” — would require teachers to notify parents before teaching “sexuality content” and of any change in a student’s mental, emotional or physical health. Rep. D.J. Swearingen (R-Huron) and Rep. Sara Carruthers (R-Hamilton) reintroduced the bill earlier this year after the legislation failed to pass Ohio’s General Assembly last year.

Denny’s Insight: Children shouldn’t have to be subjected by teachers to partake in ‘sexuality’ lessons. This is a win for Ohio.

3. Donald Trump: ‘I Have Been Indicted … I Am An Innocent Man!’:

Breitbart – Former President Donald Trump announced Thursday evening that federal prosecutors had indicted him as part of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into his handling of White House documents.

Trump said U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) prosecutors notified his attorneys of the indictment, in a statement issued on Truth Social.

Trump posted:

“Page 1: The corrupt Biden Administration has informed my attorneys that I have been Indicted, seemingly over the Boxes Hoax, even though Joe Biden has 1850 Boxes at the University of Delaware, additional Boxes in Chinatown, D.C., with even more Boxes at the University of Pennsylvania, and documents strewn all over his garage floor where he parks his Corvette, and which is “secured” by only a garage door that is paper thin, and open much of the time.”

Trump said he was ordered to appear at the federal courthouse in Miami on Tuesday for the start of federal criminal proceedings against him.

Denny’s Question: Should the GOP universally unite and rally around Trump? These indictments are getting insane, out-of-hand, and are just full on corrupt; WHERE’S JOE BIDEN’S INDICTMENT FOR HIS GARAGE OF BOXES? What should the Republicans do? Sound off in the comments.
