1-Trump says he’s ‘medication free’
President Trump opened up about his ongoing recovery from the novel coronavirus on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Friday, sitting down for his first on-camera interview since he tested positive last week.
Speaking to Fox News medical contributor Dr. Marc Siegel in a remote interview from the White House, Trump said he was “medication free” as of Friday and feeling “really, really strong.”
The president acknowledged that before he went to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Oct. 2, he “didn’t feel very vital” and “didn’t feel like the president of the U.S. should feel.”
Trump returned to the White House on Monday after spending three nights at the Bethesda, Md., hospital. He touted the beneficial effects of Regeneron’s experimental antibody cocktail, which he said made a “tremendous difference” in his recovery.

2-Louisiana archbishop blasts ‘demonic’ sex act in church, orders altar removed, burned
The archbishop of New Orleans on Friday called the report of an alleged sex act between a priest and two women inside a church “demonic” and ordered the altar removed from the church and burned, he said.
Meanwhile, a Louisiana lawyer representing the two women linked to the alleged threesome called their arrests “appalling.”
“The fact that this involved a priest or took place in a church is completely irrelevant,” attorney Bradley Phillips said, according to the New Orleans Advocate. He represents the two women, Mindy Dixon, 41, and Melissa Cheng, 23, who were accused of having sex with the Rev. Travis Clark, 37, in Pearl River, northwest of New Orleans.
“I understand that people may be upset by this situation, but that does not make this conduct illegal or criminal in any way,” the lawyer added.
A witness called police Sept. 30 after seeing Clark through a window in the Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church in a state of undress on the altar, authorities have said. The priest was seen with two high-heeled, corseted women while he was partially dressed in priestly attire.
The witness had become suspicious when the church lights were seen on late at night. The witness recorded the incident and showed it to police.

4 – Bill Maher confronts Rep. Adam Schiff over California’s ‘super-high taxes’ and mass exodus
“Real Time” host Bill Maher took a moment on his show Friday night to slam his Democrat-controlled home state of California and sound the alarm over the “exodus” that is taking place.
During an interview with Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., Maher acknowledged that local issues were not in the congressman’s “domain” but said he still felt the need to “b—- a little bit.”
“There is an exodus,” Maher said. “California businesses are leaving the state in droves. In just 2018 and 19, which were economic boom years, 765 commercial facilities left. 13,000 businesses left between 2009 and 2016. Look, I came out here in 1983, I found paradise. I love California. I do. I don’t want to leave. But I feel like I’m living in Italy in the 70s or something, super high taxes, potholes in the road. I don’t know what I’m getting for my super high taxes. And I do — and this talk of exodus, I tell you, people talk about this a lot now, and people are leaving.”

5-Amy Coney Barrett tells Senate panel she signed ad decrying Roe v. Wade as ‘infamous’
Judge Amy Coney Barrett, President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, submitted a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Friday showing she had previously signed onto an ad that referred to the Roe v. Wade ruling that legalized abortion as “infamous” and called “for the unborn to be protected in law.”
The ad, sponsored by the University of Notre Dame’s Faculty for Life and the Notre Dame Fund to Protect Human Life, was published in 2013, according to Bloomberg. Barrett, who has served as a law professor at Notre Dame since 2002, joined more than a hundred other university members in signing the ad criticizing the 1973 abortion ruling.
“In the 40 years since the Supreme Court’s infamous Roe v. Wade decision, over 55 million unborn children have been killed by abortions,” the ad started. “We faculty and staff at the University of Notre Dame reaffirm our full support of our university’s commitment to the right to life, we renew our call for the unborn to be protected in law and welcomed in life, and we voice our love and support for the mothers who bear them.”
