1 – Biden doubles down, tells Georgians to ‘smarten up’ to avoid losing more business
The Daily Caller reports: President Joe Biden called on Georgia to “smarten up,” stopping short of saying that the Masters golf tournament should join Major League Baseball’s All Star Game and pull out of the state.
Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked Biden about the possibility of moving the Masters during the president’s Tuesday update on the coronavirus vaccine rollout.
Doocy asked Biden — who did weigh in on moving the MLB’s All Star Game out of Georgia and has repeatedly referred to the state’s election law as “the new Jim Crow” — whether he was in favor of the Masters pulling out of Georgia as well.
Pres. Biden says it’s “reassuring” to see corporations opposing Georgia’s sweeping voting law, but cautions businesses leaving the state could hurt workers.

DML: Biden has thrown Georgians under the bus.
2 – Biden Admin Massively Overstated How Many Jobs His Infrastructure Plan Will Create
The Daily Caller reports: The Biden administration has severely overstated the total number of jobs the American Jobs Plan (AJP), President Joe Biden’s $2.25 trillion infrastructure program, will create if signed into law.
Numerous Biden administration senior officials, including White House press secretary Jen Psaki, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, National Economic Council director Brian Deese and even Biden himself, began touting a Moody’s Analytics estimate over the weekend that says the economy will create “19 million” jobs over the next 10 years if the AJP is passed.
However, Mark Zandi, Moody’s chief economist and one of two authors behind the firm’s analysis of Biden’s plan, told The Washington Post Monday that the estimate projected various potential legislative outcomes and that AJP alone is only expected to net the country 2.7 million jobs, a figure roughly 600% smaller than than the 19 million figure referenced over the weekend.

3 – Universally panned ’60 Minutes’ hit piece on DeSantis just made him a 2024 frontrunner
OpEd by Joe Concha: Ask any supporter of former President Trump for their preference as the Republican presidential nominee in 2024, and the overwhelming majority provide the same answer: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
So, with DeSantis’s stock rising in the GOP, enter the national media’s most-watched broadcast news program, “60 Minutes,” to look into DeSantis’s handling of vaccine rollouts in the Sunshine State. On cue, the program accused the governor of a pay-to-play vaccine distribution scheme with Publix stores, which has more than 800 locations in Florida.
Appropriately weary of media bias, DeSantis refused to appear on the program because he likely knew such a piece would paint him in a poor light while keeping out key facts or soundbites. And that’s exactly what happened after CBS’s Sharyn Alfonsi cornered DeSantis at a March press conference to inquire about Publix’s role in the vaccination effort and a $100,000 donation to the governor’s political action committee.
Concha concludes: When looking for a possible challenger to President Biden or Vice President Harris, should the former decide not to run for reelection, look no further among active politicians than Ron DeSantis, who just got stronger as a result of a national hit piece that has already backfired fantastically.

DML: 2024 is looking better for DeSantis every day.
4 – Andrew Cuomo’s New York: Illegal Aliens to Get $1.1B More in Taxpayer-Funded Aid Than Small Businesses
Breitbart reports: Nearly 200,000 illegal aliens living in New York will soon receive $2.1 billion in taxpayer-funded stimulus checks and unemployment benefits thanks to a budget agreed upon by Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D).
While more than a million jobs have been lost in New York and an estimated 80,000 New York businesses may not make it to the end of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, Cuomo and elected state Democrats agreed on a budget deal that provides billions to illegal aliens at the taxpayer’s expense.
Specifically, according to the New York Times, the state budget includes $2.1 billion in taxpayer-funded one-time payments in the form of stimulus checks and unemployment-style benefits for about 187,000 illegal aliens — about $1.1 billion more than small businesses are set to get in grants and tax credits after being forced to close by Cuomo’s economic lockdowns.
The budget also provides about $2.3 billion in federal funds for tenants who have been behind on rent as a result of Cuomo’s lockdowns, just $200,000,000 more than what illegal aliens will receive.
Previous estimates suggested illegal aliens could receive up to $28,600 a year thanks to the taxpayer-funded benefits approved by Cuomo. Weekly, illegal aliens could receive $500. For those unemployed since March 2020, illegal aliens could receive, on average, $12,600.
DML: Just can’t make this stuff up.
5 – White House aims to create legal ways for Central Americans to migrate, U.S. envoy says
Reuters reports: The White House is looking to create legal ways for Central American migrants to reach the United States, U.S. President Joe Biden’s special envoy Ricardo Zuñiga said on Tuesday, amid a sharp rise in illegal crossings over the past few months.
Zuñiga, Biden’s envoy to the so-called Northern Triangle countries in Central America, said on a visit to Guatemala that the White House was looking to offer protections to migrants amid a push by Biden to reshape the U.S. border policy.
A jump in immigration from the three Northern Triangle countries of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador has posed one of the biggest political challenges to the new Biden administration.
A day after meeting with Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei, Zuñiga met most of his government’s senior cabinet ministers to discuss how to improve security as well as economic and societal conditions that drive Guatemalans to migrate.
“We are here to also talk about the need and the efforts of the White House to create legal means for migration so that people do not have to use irregular and dangerous routes,” Zuñiga said in a press conference.
Longtime Trump advisor Jason Miller tweeted, “We…already…have…a…legal…immigration…process…”

DML: Yes, we already have a legal immigration process!
6 – NASA employees reportedly asked to volunteer to work with unaccompanied migrant children
Fox News reports: The Biden administration asked NASA employees Tuesday if they would volunteer to help at overcrowded border facilities amid a surging migrant crisis that has overcrowded detention facilities with unaccompanied minors.
“This opportunity provides a continuum of care for children, including placements in foster care, shelter, and residential care providers that provide temporary housing and to assist with caring for and placing children without legal immigration status who have entered the country at the southern border without a parent or legal guardian,” an email sent to NASA workers reads.
The HHS is asking for volunteers to apply for a 120-day deployment detail that would send them to the Southwest border to provide direct support for the care of detained migrant children and or to act as interpreters if they have the required language proficiency. The reimbursable detail includes travel, lodging and per diem expenses.

DML: It’s totally out of control.
7 – Biden’s DHS Erases Report About Illegal Aliens on FBI Terrorism Watch List Crossing U.S.-Mexico Border
Breitbart reports: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has erased a report that detailed illegal aliens on the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Terrorism Watch List and No-Fly List crossing the United States-Mexico border.
On Monday, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency published a press release detailing Border Patrol agents’ apprehension of two illegal aliens from Yemen who are on the FBI’s Terrorism Watch List and the No-Fly List.
By Tuesday morning, though, the release had been removed from the CBP website and has not been republished. A link to the original press release shows up as an “Access Denied” page with a note stating “You are not authorized to access this page.”
A CBP spokesperson told Breitbart News in a statement: “The news release in question was not properly reviewed and contained certain disclosure and policy information related to national security that required CBP to remove it from our website.”
DML: Now why wouldn’t the Biden administration want Americans to know what’s coming across the border?
8 – ‘The men are coming’. California allows hundreds of transgender inmates to request transfers to prison aligning with gender identity
Fox News reports: A California law that took effect this year has prompted hundreds of transgender prison inmates to put in a request to be transferred to a facility that aligns with their gender identity.
Since Jan. 1, 2021, some 261 such requests have been put in, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). [Out of the 261 requests, 255 are requesting to be transferred to the women’s facility.]
Though transgender inmates make up just over 1% of the Golden State’s prison population, the requests have led to heightened fears among women’s facilities that the supposed influx of transgender inmates will lead to increased sexual violence.
The Los Angles Times reported Monday that some prison guards have been telling female inmates that “men are coming” and to prepare for the worst.
The LA Times added: “That if we think it’s bad now, be prepared for the worst. That it’s going to be off the hook, it’s going to be jumping,” Tomiekia Johnson, 41, said staffers have told her. “They say we’re going to need a facility that’s going to be like a maternity ward. They say we’re going to have an inmate program where inmates become nannies.”
Some prisoners are also concerned that inmates are making false claims about their gender identity in order to transfer to women’s prisons and say staffers have told them that this has slowed the process.
