1 – GOP exposes Biden’s CDC, teachers’ union ties on COVID guidance
Fox News reports: Republican lawmakers who sit on the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis are releasing a report Wednesday revealing a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) official’s testimony claiming that the agency coordinated with teachers’ unions at an extraordinary level in crafting its school reopening guidance, despite the agency’s earlier claims that such coordination was routine and nonpolitical.

In the interim report, exclusively reviewed by Fox News Digital, Republicans wrote that emails between the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), the White House, and the CDC showed that the AFT’s “cozy relationship with the Biden administration’s political leadership at the CDC positioned the union to impose line-by-line edits” to the reopening guidance, despite the CDC’s “past practice to keep draft guidance confidential.”

Fox News previously reported in October on emails that showed the AFT and the National Education Association, the two largest teachers’ unions in the U.S., received a copy of the guidance before the CDC released it to the public.

On Feb. 11, 2021 one day before the CDC publicly posted the guidance, AFT’s senior director of health issues, Kelly Trautner, emailed CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky asking her to insert the line: “In the event high-community transmission results from a new variant of SARS-CoV-2, a new update of these guidelines may be necessary.”

The emails also revealed that CDC officials coordinated an early release of the final guidance to the AFT before releasing it to the public. The Republicans’ report Wednesday says the Biden administration provided the teachers’ unions “unprecedented access to the policymaking process for guidance on re-opening schools.”

DML: It’s called COLLUSION.

2 – Fewer Americans say they are ‘thriving’ compared to a year ago: Gallup
The Hill reports: Fewer Americans consider themselves to be “thriving” compared to a year ago, according to a Gallup poll released on Wednesday.

About 52.3 percent of the respondents said that they were “thriving.” That percentage is the lowest since January 2021, according to Gallup.

The percentage has dropped from last June, when 59.2 percent of Americans said that they were “thriving,” Gallup noted.

The survey giant categorizes Americans as “thriving,” “struggling” or “suffering” based on a system in which they rate their lives on a scale ranging from 0 to 10, with Americans who rate their lives a 7 or higher are determined to be “thriving.”

Nearly 3.9 percent of Americans in the new poll were considered to be “suffering” — a percentage that has remained steady throughout the pandemic.

DML: Welcome to Joe Biden’s fundamental transformation.   80 million people really wanted this?

3 – North Carolina Voter Rolls Rife with Deceased, Duplicate Registrations After 2020 Election
Breitbart reports: Tens of thousands of deceased and duplicative voter registrations were found after the 2020 election in North Carolina, according to a Tuesday report from the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF).

PILF, which describes itself as a public interest law firm dedicated to election integrity, cross-referenced state records and found that 7,933 North Carolinians were still registered to vote “long after death” in 2020. Roughly 12,940 deceased registrants were found on the rolls in the spring of 2020, “ranking the state 8th in the nation.”

The non-profit provided a few examples of North Carolina voters who were left on the rolls long after death, including Hoyle Helms, a World War II veteran who died in 1997 — he reportedly remained on the voter rolls for nearly 25 years. Another voter, Mary Coleman, died in 2003 and “remained active on the state’s voter rolls for nearly two decades.”

“These examples were not removed by officials until 2021, despite their deaths roughly 20 years ago,” the report states.

As far as duplicative registrations, 42,984 North Carolina voter registrants left the state and “established or renewed their out-of-state registration before the 2020 election.” PILF reportedly used the U.S. Postal Service National Change of Address (NCOA) systems and the organization’s national voter database to track voters moving from their in-state address to another state to determine if they established a registration before November 2020.

DML: And this is just one stated…

4 – Teacher On MSNBC Worries He Can’t Talk About His Love Life With Kindergarteners Anymore
The Daily Caller reports: An openly gay Parish, Florida, teacher said Tuesday on MSNBC that he’s concerned he can’t talk about his love life with kindergarteners anymore after the state enacted a law prohibiting teachers from discussing sexuality with young students.

“You know, it’s two-fold, it really hits hard in my heart professionally and personally. Professionally it truly makes me feel like I am not trusted as a professional. I know my kindergarten standards through and through and nowhere in our curriculum does it have anything about teaching sexual orientation or sexual identity,” Cory Bernaert said.

“So for them to say that that’s happening that, you know, it is kind of crazy, but we should be able to have discussions and that’s what we’re encouraged to do in kindergarten. Personally, because my kids do have questions, they want to know who my partner is and pictures outside the classroom and I should be able to speak to them.”

“That’s what we do as educators, we build relationships with our kids. In order to build relationships, you talk about your home life, what you do on the weekends that’s building community. It scares me that I am not going to be able to have these conversations with my children because they’re going to ask about what I did on the weekend, I don’t want to have to hide that my partner and I went paddle boarding this weekend. They will ask ‘what does partner mean?’ Can I tell them what it means?”

DML: NO teacher should be talking to their students about their private life or their sex life. No matter what age the students are. Who agrees with me?  Share your thoughts in the comments section below!

5 – Woman with bright orange hair is hunted after being caught on camera smashing the window of a taxi with a cinder block to steal an iPhone and $40 in cash in Midtown Manhattan
The Daily Mail reports: Police in New York City are hunting for a woman with bright orange hair who smashed the window of a yellow taxi with a cinder block to steal an iPhone and $40 in cash.

The brazen broad-daylight theft happened on Thursday, in midtown Manhattan.

The driver of the yellow taxi had parked his car on West 37th Street, between Ninth and 10th avenues, and left it to use the restroom.

Security camera footage showed the woman approach the car carrying the cinder block. She hurled it at the drivers’ side window, and then clambered through the broken window to steal the phone and cash.

  1. Sorry but I never cared or asked about a teacher’s private life nor anyone I was in class with ever cared or asked about it! A teacher is there for one reason, to teach math, science, history, English, etc. A teacher is not there to discuss their private life! Especially to a 5 year old!

  2. No teacher should be discussing their personal life or their personal beliefs with the students entrusted to them. Period. Why are kindergartners asking who your partner is in paddle boarding? Aren’t you supposed to be teaching them the alphabet or something? Not sexual preferences? It’s outrageously narcissistic to think 4&5 year olds have an actual interest in your life choices or sexual preferences. Keep your home life at home and your work life at work. Share what you like with your friends. But please spare your students and/or coworkers the intimate details of your life. Nobody cares.

  3. These teachers that feel they need to put their personal beliefs on these children obviously have a mental illness. Growing up, I don’t remember if my teachers were single or married. They taught me math, English, Spelling, Geography etc. This generation is confusing children, taking away their belief that there is a God that created them just as they are. This is brainwashing to make a confused insecure generation.

    • Exactly right. That teacher does not have those kids as his children, they are his students. If he wants children let him and his boyfriend make some. They may be dark brown and smelly. And I suppose if he did have an actual child he would resent having somebody else’s points of view shoved into that kids head as a five or six year old.

  4. Used to teachers were scrutinized and nothing like this would have ever been allowed to happen. This country’s morals have been flushed down the toilet.

  5. Never say sorry when defending our children. That says you are apologizing for what you are about to say. These people are sick and will hide thier indoctrination of children from parents. to help

  6. Ummmm….i think that’s called grooming! No…a teacher should NOT be sharing their sex life or private life with 5 year old babies!!! It would be normal to have a family pic on your desk and maybe share a few mins of weekend adventures but nothing more. I don’t remember my teachers or my kid’s teachers even having personal family pics in the classroom as it was considered unprofessional.

  7. No teacher should be discussing their personal home life/style to students. PERIOD. I never remembering a single teacher discussing their personal life in all my years attending school. These liberals think the class room is their personal domain to push their agenda. IT IS NOT!
Schools should be limited to Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, Government Structure along with work skills.
The “Home” life teaching are to be left at home. I would have no problem telling any teacher as much. I would also pull my kid out of any class or school who did otherwise.

  8. I worked as a teacher for kindergarten and never once needed to share my sex life. We might ask about weekend activities on Monday mornings like movies, books and sports games but nothing deeper? Though I will say when I was doing virtual school with my grandkids I did hear teachers asking deeper questions and sharing more about their lives. I just don’t see why you need to share your personal business with small children or any student for that matter.

  9. There shouldn’t be any dead registered voters. However, more concerning, and the real crime, is how many dead voters voted in the 2020 election and we know that number is substantial…instead of zero like it should be.

  10. Teachers should not be talking about their private life styles and sex to children in school. Their job is to teach reading, writing, and arithmetic and history (the true history…not this new woke crap they are pushing).

  11. I couldn’t agree more with all the comments and with DML!
This teacher shouldn’t be allowed to teach at all! These evil liberal politicians have created a completely chaos in our country with their abnormal laws! There is an agenda behind all this and it is pointing to implementing the New World order! Obama started with fundamentally changing our country and this brain dead idiot in the WH is nothing than a creepy puppet!

  12. This man is SICK if he feels the need to discuss his love life with children! And then to publicly state the fact! This is one messed up sicko that should not be around children, no less teaching them!

  13. Me or my kids never discussed home lives with any of our teachers. This jerk is in the wrong line of business. If I had a grandkid in that school he or she would be taken out for sure. Seems like my grandkids will be homeschooled

  14. I absolutely agree no teacher should be discussing their sex life with students, of any age. I don’t understand why the LBGT community has to flaunt their sex, I don’t want to hear it or see it. Why do they bring attention to themselves? We have all the answers within our own self, and not outward. I don’t care how they live their life, just don’t force their beliefs on kids or people who don’t want to hear it.

    • It used to be that don’t ask don’t tell was the best way to do this. Now those people can’t shut their mouth about it. In fact they keep shoving in our faces including our children’s faces.

  15. My husband and I both taught and he coached in a small town in TX. Our girls were heavily involved in all aspects of the school and church activities. My school kids saw my daily outside the school setting and we talked about our lives all the time! Everyone knew everyone in town. That was all our lives!! But the inside my house private family time was private! But the rest, was public knowledge! That’s why we lived in a small town! It takes a village!!

    • I’m sure the taxi driver knows his cell phone number and the police can trace any calls made since the theft. They can even pinpoint the area where the phone call was made by tracing the call from the cell phone tower. Not only that, but they also have a really good photo of the thief’s face. That orange wigged thief is definitely going to be caught. I can’t believe that the theft was done in broad daylight on a city street. Wasn’t there anybody around to actually see it happen?

  16. That kindergarten teacher should be treated as a pedophile. Period. What a scumbag.
Teachers union are among the top 10 problems this country has.

  17. I can guarantee no five year old gives a s*** about what their teacher did over the weekend. Some teachers today are so narcissistic and do not care about students. The emphasis has changed to the TEACHER and their importance and the student get screwed. It should be about the STUDENT not your distorted perception of yourself. Do your job and just teach without your vile agenda.

  18. When I was in school, I seem to vaguely remember a teacher or a few of my teachers referring to something that they were married, like talking about that they saw their husbands family that weekend or their wife used to be a teacher, something like that. There was no discussion about anybody’s sexual orientation and nobody shared details about their personal lives, if anything was said it was just in passing mention and not a topic for discussion.

  19. From Kindergarten through my senior year in school, I knew nothing about my teachers’ personal lives, marital status, etc. There’s NO reason for a teacher to feel the need to share about their partner, especially in Kindergarten! That’s not part of what they’re there to “teach”.

  20. Why should a teacher be talking to 5 year olds about his personal life! That is just stupid. They are there to teach and broaden our children’s minds academically. Who cares about their personal lives.

  21. Not the most intelligent criminal on the street? Orange hair like Psaki? This crime was in NYC, so the “Hunt” for her (I’m sure this will be considered offensive term by the left) if she is ever found, the charges will be petty if anything and will be released without bail due to POS bail reform laws

  22. I taught preschool for 11 years and never discussed my personal life with a child. How narcissistic do you have to be to think a young child cares who you live with or what you do in the weekend? Just teach them the basics and leave the personal stuff to the parents. Why is that so difficult? Kids are egocentric anyway. Listen to them and build a relationship in that. Keep your own life to yourself.

  23. I taught for 25 years and my husband for 44 years. Neither one of us ever shared our private life with our students. I taught in elementary school and my husband taught in high school. Kindergarten children do not care what you do on the weekend. I taught kindergarten for 14 years and was never asked about what I had done over the weekend. It is totally inappropriate and unprofessional. Apparently this dude was never taught professional ethics.

  24. Patricia Winkleman
I taught Kdg. for 27 years in Florida. I am disgusted with the Kdg.teacher who was slamming Gov.Santis and the state for passing the bill. He is not professional and should not be allowed to teach young children especially. Never should a teacher talk about his personal life and his sexual activities whether heterosexual or gay in the classroom. The students are a captive audience to innocent to walk out of the room or protest. Take away his teaching certificate. Tell him to get another job or go to jail. I agree with you,DML.
