1 – Another top member of Kamala Harris’ staff BAILS OUT
The New York Post reports: Vice President Kamala Harris’ chief of staff Tina Flournoy is leaving her position after 15 months — joining a growing list of Harris aides who have called it quits over the past year.
Flournoy led Harris’ team through a turbulent period punctuated by reported tensions with West Wing staff and vexing tasks given by President Biden to his No. 2., such as reducing illegal immigration and passing federal election reforms.
“Tina has been a valued advisor and confidant to me and tremendous leader for the office,” Harris said in a statement.
“From day 1, she led our team during a historic first year as we made progress rebuilding our economy here at home and our alliances around the world. Tina is the consummate public servant and I will continue to rely on her advice, counsel and friendship.”
The reason for Flournoy’s departure was not immediately clear.
A WH official says @VP Harris is making a change in the top job in her office. Tina Flournoy will depart as chief of staff. Lorraine Voles ,who had been senior advisor since last summer, will step in as new chief of staff.

2 – Mike Tyson could be charged after plane brawl video emerges
Fox News reports: Legendary boxer Mike Tyson apparently was caught on video punching another passenger on a flight out of San Francisco Wednesday night — and according to one attorney, he could face felony battery charges over the incident.
Video released by TMZ Sports on Thursday appeared to show Tyson punching a man seated a row behind him at San Francisco International Airport. According to the report, the man continued to badger Tyson after he told him to “chill.”
The San Francisco Police Department told the outlet that two people believed to be involved were detained and that one person was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. They added that the person being treated “provided minimal details of the incident and refused to cooperate further with the police investigation.”
Tyson’s rep confirmed to TMZ Sports that the man not only was harassing the boxer but also threw a water bottle at him before the incident — but according to Chicago-based attorney Andrew Stoltmann, Tyson could face serious repercussions.
DML: Well, I NEVER advocate for violence, but what the heck was that fool thinking who kept badgering him?
3 – Universities reinstate mask mandates despite CDC guidelines
The Washington Examiner reports: A number of colleges and universities in the United States have moved to re-implement campus mask mandates in recent days, despite guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that mask requirements are generally no longer necessary.
In recent weeks, a number of colleges and universities, predominantly in northeastern states, reinstated campus masking requirements, citing a rise in COVID-19 cases.
The changes to campus mask policies have come despite guidelines from the CDC in late February that said wearing a face mask indoors, including in schools, is no longer necessary to curb the spread of COVID-19 in most of the U.S. However, the guidelines do recommend masking in areas of high transmission.
Among the colleges reinstating masking requirements are the Washington, D.C., schools of Howard University, George Washington University, and Georgetown University. The list also includes the Philadelphia schools of Temple, the University of Pennsylvania, and Drexel University.
All of the institutions had previously removed mask requirements following the release of the CDC guidelines on masking.
DML: Here we go again. Democrats will keep this mask mandate going as long as people keep complying.
