1 – Federal judge rules in favor of health care workers seeking religious exemption to vaccine mandate
Fox News reports: A federal judge in New York granted a preliminary injunction Tuesday in favor of 17 health care workers applying for religious exemptions to the state’s COVID-19 mandate.

U.S. District Judge David Hurd’s injunction, which is effective statewide, temporarily bars New York State from forcing employers to fire medical workers seeking a religious exemption.

“The question presented by this case is not whether plaintiffs and other individuals are entitled to a religious exemption from the State’s workplace vaccination requirement,” Hurd wrote.

“Instead, the question is whether the State’s summary imposition of [the mandate] conflicts with plaintiffs’ and other individuals’ federally protected right to seek a religious accommodation from their individual employers,” he continued, adding, “The answer to this question is clearly yes.”

Hurd also left the door open for an appeal, writing, “Because the issues in dispute are of exceptional importance to the health and the religious freedoms of our citizens, an appeal may very well be appropriate.”

DML: Great. Now throw out the whole mandate!

2 – Top Democratic Congressman Opts To Retire Before Potentially Difficult 2022 Elections
The Daily Caller: Democratic Rep. John Yarmuth of Kentucky, the chair of the House Budget Committee, announced Tuesday that he will forgo running for re-election.

Yarmuth, first elected in 2007 and the only Democrat in Kentucky’s congressional delegation, has been a central player in helping to craft President Joe Biden’s multitrillion-dollar budget bill. His retirement comes just over a year before the 2022 midterms, a potentially difficult cycle for Democrats who seek to defend their slim House majority.

“It’s been an incredible journey since my first campaign in 2006 until now,” Yarmuth said. “I will continue to fight for Louisville in Washington for another 15 months, and then, I will retire from Congress.”

DML: Let’s get a solid “America First” GOP candidate elected in his place!!

3 – Two Illegal Aliens Accused of Beating 28-Year-Old to Death at Restaurant
Breitbart reports: Two illegal aliens are among four men accused of murdering a 28-year-old resident of Queens, New York outside of a cheesesteak restaurant in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Omar Arce, a 32-year-old illegal alien, and Jose Alberto Flores-Huerta, a 33-year-old illegal alien, Breitbart News has learned, were arrested and charged with murdering 28-year-old Isidro Cortes on September 16 outside of South Philadelphia’s Pat’s King of Steaks restaurant.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency confirmed with Breitbart News that they have issued detainers for Arce and Flores-Huerta, indicating their illegal alien status. An ICE detainer is a formal request by the agency to local law enforcement, asking that a suspect be turned over to their custody for arrest and deportation if they are released at any time.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, Arce and Flores-Huerta, along with two other men whom police are searching for, 34-year-old Osvaldo “Willie” Pedraza and 32-year-old Victor Pedraza, beat Cortez to death outside of the restaurant following an argument.

DML: Unfortunately, you’ll be seeing more of this in Biden’s open-borders America.
