House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) announced Friday afternoon that he will be releasing ALL the January 6 tapes to the public, and then kept his promise just an hour later.
The tapes contain over 44,000 hours of security footage from the U.S. Capitol of the protest that took place on January 6, 2021, and is being posted on a public website.

2 – Defying security risks, Biden weighs joining Chinese-owned app to sway young voters
President Biden’s re-election campaign is reportedly weighing privately whether to join the Chinese-owned social media platform TikTok.
Axios first reported on Friday that Biden’s team was considering using the platform, owned by the Chinese company ByteDance, though a spokesman for the president’s re-election downplayed the story.

3 – Donations have surged to groups linked to conservative Project 2025
The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, stepped up efforts to boost its Project 2025 initiative by ramping up grants to the venture aimed at creating a “government-in-waiting” for the next Republican presidential administration, according to a new tax filing.

4 – WATCH: Notorious Trump Hater Has Change of Heart, Says Voting For Trump ‘Is On The Table’
Actor and comedian Michael Rapaport stated in a video Wednesday that voting for former President Donald Trump “is on the table” for the celebrity, apologizing for his possible vote toward the Republican candidate.
Rapaport, 53, posted a 30-second video Thursday on X, originally from a longer video on Wednesday, stating that if the 2024 presidential election came down between Democrat President Joe Biden and Trump, he would now be considering casting his vote towards the Republican.

5 – WATCH: Actor ‘threatens violence against women’ while smearing Moms for Liberty in awards speech
Actor LeVar Burton told the National Book Awards audience it was good members of Moms for Liberty weren’t in attendance while he delivered his acceptance speech because if they were, hands would be “thrown.”
Burton used his opening speech at the 74th National Book Awards on Wednesday to deliver his verbal jab at the popular conservative lobby group.
“Before we get going, are there any Moms for Liberty in the house?” Burton asked, while the New York audience laughed. “Moms for Liberty? No? Good. Then hands will not need to be thrown tonight.”
