1 – Two Secret Service employees sent home from South Korea ahead of Biden’s arrival after alleged drunken incident
ABC News reports: Two Secret Service employees — an agent and an armed physical security specialist — in South Korea to prepare for President Joe Biden’s impending arrival are being sent home after an alleged alcohol-fueled incident that ended with a report being filed with local police, according to two sources briefed on the situation.

The personnel were assigned to help prepare for the presidential visit when they went out for dinner and then stopped at several bars, the sources told ABC News. As the evening progressed, the two Secret Service staffers became apparently intoxicated and the agent wound up in a heated argument with a cab driver, according to the sources.

Police were called and a report detailing the “altercation” was filed, one source said.

The agent who allegedly got into the argument with the cab driver is scheduled to be interviewed by local police before boarding a flight back to the U.S. The decision to send them home was made while the president was still en route to Asia.

The latest episode in the Far East carries echoes of the 2012 scandal in which Secret Service employees were investigated for drinking heavily and hiring prostitutes while preparing for a trip by then-President Barack Obama to Cartagena, Colombia.

MY TAKE: Funny things like this keep happening when they’re serving under a Dem president.

2 – Biden vows to deepen US-South Korea ties in first Asia stop
The Hill reports: President Biden on Friday toured a Samsung factory in South Korea and vowed to strengthen ties between Washington and Seoul during his first stop on a trip to Asia.

“We’re standing at an inflection point in history where the decisions we make today will have a far-reaching impacts on the world we leave to our children tomorrow,” Biden said in remarks at the Samsung plant in Pyeongtaek. “This vibrant democracy has become a powerhouse of global innovation by investing in educating its people.”

“This is the moment, in my view, to invest in one another, to deepen our business ties, to bring our people living closer together,” Biden said.

Biden cheered Samsung’s plans to build a new $17 billion semiconductor facility in Tyler, Texas, saying it would create 3,000 new jobs in Texas.

He touted domestic investments of the infrastructure law last year and also expressed hope that semiconductor legislation being worked on in Congress would soon be passed into law. The bill is the result of a bipartisan effort to make the U.S. more competitive against China in the tech space.

MY TAKE: Biden will fly halfway across the world before he’ll go to the Mexico-US border to see the chaos he’s caused.

3 – Ron DeSantis says Biden should get ‘honorary’ drug cartel membership for border
The New York Post reports: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Wednesday that President Biden’s border policies would secure him “honorary” membership in a Mexican drug cartel.

Speaking at an unrelated press conference in Okaloosa County, DeSantis panned Biden for allowing a Trump-era border control measure to end and argued that the country’s southern perimeter has come undone.

“He is violating his own oath of office by allowing massive numbers of people to come across the border illegally,” DeSantis said. “Those border communities are just getting killed down in southern Texas with everything coming in.”

DeSantis said porous borders are accelerating America’s fentanyl crisis and that narcotics are flowing over the border unchecked.

“Biden should be given an honorary membership in the Mexican drug cartels,” he said. “Because nobody has done more to help the cartels than Biden with his open border policies.”

MY TAKE: DeSantis ROCKS!

4 – Two dead and eight injured after shooting outside a McDonald’s in Chicago
The Daily Mail reports: Two people are dead and another eight are wounded following a mass shooting outside a McDonald’s in Chicago, authorities said.

The shooting occurred at about 10:40 p.m. on Thursday by the McDonald’s restaurant in the 800 block of North State Street, which is next to the Chicago Avenue subway station, Chicago police said.

Terrified witnesses screamed and ran away from the scene where the 10 people were shot. The eight wounded victims were rushed to nearby hospitals in a serious to critical condition, with at least one undergoing surgery, officials said.

A victim had suffered burns, possibly from being injured on the CTA Red Line subway, Chief Juan Hernandez, a spokesperson with the Chicago Fire Department told the Chicago Tribune.

One person was taken into custody and a weapon was recovered, police said in statement without releasing the identities of the two people killed in the shooting.

One victim was in ‘grave’ condition and the other gunshot victims were all in serious to critical condition, Hernandez said late on Thursday night.

Details about what led to the shooting weren’t immediately released by police, but a witness, Deonna Jackson, 18, said the shooting appeared to stem from a fight outside the restaurant.

MY TAKE: Why aren’t Dems talking about THIS mass shooting?

5 – Pricey Prank: School says students will foot massive bill after senior stunt goes terribly wrong
Fox News reports: A senior prank at Frisco Memorial High School this week got out of hand, causing thousands of dollars in damage and forcing classes to be canceled.

In Frisco, Texas, the Frisco Independent School District approved a senior prank that involved a small group of students and a large number of Post-it notes, but that’s not what took place, according to FOX 4 Dallas.

A letter sent to parents from school administrators said that a small group of students was approved to place Post-it notes with messages on the walls of Memorial High School as part of their senior prank.

Instead, the school administrators said that students vandalized the campus in a situation that “devolved rapidly,” adding that the Frisco Police and Fire Departments had to get involved.

MY TAKE: Well, who is surprised?  Liberals keep encouraging young people to protest and take to the streets, BLM can burn down cities and nothing happens. This is the result of years of liberal brainwashing and no rules.
