1 – Hunter’s emails emerge about think tank at heart of Biden classified documents scandal
Fox News reports: The Penn Biden Center lies at the heart of the latest Biden controversy but in some ways remains shrouded by mystery.
The White House revealed earlier this week that classified documents were discovered at the Washington, D.C. office for President Biden’s think tank, the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, in early November. On Wednesday, news broke that another trove of classified documents from Biden’s time as vice president had been discovered at another location, leading to louder calls for Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint a special counsel to investigate the president’s handling of such documents.
The Biden Center has since found itself in the middle of a firestorm, leading to renewed questions on the likes of Chinese donations to the University of Pennsylvania, which houses the think tank. Hunter Biden is also shown to have discussed the center in emails before its launch.
Within weeks of leaving the vice presidency under former President Barack Obama in January 2017, Biden became the “Benjamin Franklin Presidential Practice Professor” at the University of Pennsylvania, an honorary position, and the “Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement” was launched in Washington, D.C. the next year.
However, discussions about the elder Biden’s future involvement with Penn long predated the end of the Obama presidency, according to emails from Hunter Biden’s infamous abandoned laptop, which have been verified by Fox News Digital.
ANNETA G: It looks like there’s more corruption here than we even imagined. And to think they accused TRUMP of “collusion.” Republicans need to investigate the Biden China collusion!! Meanwhile, you’ve got to see THIS:
Joy Behar on Biden’s classified documents: “We all know that Trump is a liar and a thief. We know that. So it’s not that big a jump to say that he obstructed and he lied. We don’t think Biden is a liar and a thief, so we give him the benefit of the doubt.”pic.twitter.com/x7f23BU2kH

2 – Doocy Asks Jean-Pierre How Biden Could Be ‘That Irresponsible’ With Classified Documents
The Daily Caller reports: White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre responded to Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy’s question on how President Joe Biden could be this “irresponsible” with classified documents.
The president’s attorneys allegedly discovered 10 classified documents in his private office that were reportedly related to Ukraine, Iran and the U.K., and filed them to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). Biden was reportedly unaware of the documents until the White House counsel’s office notified him, CNN reported.
“On these documents, how can anyone be that irresponsible? Isn’t that what this president says about mishandling classified documents?” Doocy asked.

3 – Two former employees sue ESPN over COVID vaccine mandate
The Hill reports: Two former ESPN employees have sued the network and its parent company, Walt Disney, over their terminations in 2021 after refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
In a complaint filed in a Connecticut court on Wednesday, former ESPN reporter Allison Williams and longtime producer Beth Faber alleged that the company made “no serious attempt” to accommodate their COVID-19 exemption requests.
According to the lawsuit, Faber, who had been with the company for more than 30 years, requested an exemption to the company’s vaccine mandate in June 2021 based on her religious beliefs, saying the vaccine goes “AGAINST what God wants” her to put in her body.
ESPN denied Faber’s COVID-19 exemption request, stating that she didn’t provide “sufficient documentation” to support her request. Faber went back and forth with company executives on the issue until the network officially terminated her contract in September, the complaint says.
Faber, who was a remote radio producer for the network, also alleged that Julie Walden, a senior human resources specialist for the company, told her in a meeting that “maybe God has led you to a new career, when God closes a door, he opens another.”

4 – NASA just found a planet almost the size of Earth and it’s in the habitable zone of a star
USA Today reports: Scientists with NASA announced they have discovered an Earth-sized planet that is likely rocky – and could be habitable.
The planet, named TOI 700 e, is slightly smaller than Earth and orbits a small, red dwarf star called TOI 700 about 100 light-years away. It’s one of four planets to orbit the star, alongside TOI 700 b, c and d.
TOI 700 d was already known to be in the habitable zone, a discovery made possible by NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, which monitors large portions of the sky for approximately 27 days at a time to track changes in stellar brightness caused by planets.
However, it took over a year for scientists to discover TOI 700 e, and learn it was located within the star’s habitable zone. Its discovery was presented at the American Astronomical Society in Seattle and a paper about the planet was accepted by The Astrophysical Journal Letters.
Scientists say TOI 700 e, along with planet d, are located in the “optimistic” habitable zone, which means the planet, at some point, could have had liquid water in its history.
The new world, TOI-700 e, is in the ‘’optimistic’’ habitable zone, meaning it’s at a distance from the star where liquid water *could* exist on the surface at some point in the planet’s lifetime. https://t.co/M7BON9uyR7 pic.twitter.com/DjUFrjDjbe

ANNETA G: Great! Next time liberals scream that they’re going to leave the country, now there’s a place for them to go.
5 – Biden’s DOE Funnels $50 Million to Green Energy Company That Sources Materials From China
The Washington Free Beacon reports: The Biden Energy Department announced in October that a $50 million grant to a lithium battery company would “ensure our clean energy future is American-made.” But the company sources its battery materials in China, highlighting the difficulty the administration faces in ushering in any sort of green energy transition without boosting America’s top geopolitical foe.
The Energy Department’s lucrative award went to Amprius Technologies, a California-based company that has leaned on Chinese manufacturing. The company built a battery factory in the Chinese city of Wuxi in 2014 after striking a $40 million joint venture with the city’s public investment arm, a move that Amprius CEO Kang Sun said at the time would help the company cut costs. Amprius also uses a spin-off company in Nanjing to produce its battery materials, while acknowledging in corporate filings that U.S. sanctions could one day threaten its ability to import those materials.
Amprius’s dependence on China reflects the broader challenges facing the Biden administration as it attempts to spur growth in the Chinese-dominated green energy industry. President Joe Biden’s so-called Inflation Reduction Act, for example, offers tax credits to electric vehicles made in North America. But starting next year, vehicles that are made with Chinese battery materials won’t qualify for the credits, and American car manufacturers say they can’t meet the deadline. Ford, for example, plans to use Chinese batteries for its electric Mustang and F-150—models Biden himself has showcased—and the company and others are fighting the rule change.
