1 – Chinese government warns Biden not to ‘underestimate the firm resolve’ on Taiwan
The Washington Examiner reports: A spokesman for the Chinese government issued a warning to the Biden administration after President Joe Biden promised military intervention should the communist mainland attack Taiwan.

Chinese Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said the country’s relationship with Taiwan was “a purely internal affair for China,” adding, “On issues touching on China’s core interests of sovereignty and territorial integrity, China has no room for compromise or concession.”

“No one should underestimate the firm resolve, staunch will, and strong ability of the Chinese people in defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity,” he continued.

Hours earlier, Biden responded “yes” when asked by a journalist if the United States would “get involved militarily to defend Taiwan” if it were attacked by China. “That’s the commitment we made,” the president said during a news conference with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Tokyo. Biden also argued that China is “already flirting with danger right now by flying so close and all the maneuvers they’re undertaking,” a reference to repeated Chinese military aircraft incursions of Taiwan’s defense zone.

The U.S.’s “One China” policy means it acknowledges but does not recognize China’s claim that Taiwan is a part of the country, though the island of 24 million people claims its independence.

MY TAKE: Sure enough, Biden’s weakness has empowered Putin, and now China is going to try the same thing.  He destroys America’s credibility everywhere he goes.

2 – Border Patrol released suspected terrorist who crossed into U.S. illegally, ICE took weeks to rearrest him
Fox News reports: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement didn’t rearrest a suspected terrorist who was released into the United States by Border Patrol agents until two weeks after he was flagged by the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

The suspected terrorist, Isnardo Garcia-Amado, 35, was released into the United States by Border Patrol agents on April 18 near Yuma, Arizona, and given a GPS monitoring device as an alternative to detention, according to a memo from a federal source obtained by Fox News.

Garcia-Amado, a Colombian citizen, was then flagged by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Terrorist Screening Center on April 21, which determined he is a match on the terror watch list.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement didn’t receive authorization to arrest the individual until May 4, and he was arrested in Pinellas County, Florida, on May 6. He was released from the Pinellas County jail and transferred to ICE custody on May 9, according to the memo.

MY TAKE: Biden’s open borders agenda is literally inviting another 9/11 attack!

3 – Gohmert urges Congress to strip amnesty, wokeness, climate provisions from anti-China bill
Breitbart reports: Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) and other conservatives urged Republican and Democrat leadership on Monday to strip provisions from an anti-China bill that would grant amnesty, promote woke values, and boost climate change regulations, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.

Reps. Gohmert, Greg Steube (R-FL), Doug LaMalfa (R-CA), and Doug Lamborn (R-CO) sent the letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), as the House and Senate are in conference hashing out the differences between the House-passed America COMPETES Act and the Senate-passed United States Innovation and Competition Act (USICA) Act.

The two bills, which were supported by many Republicans and Democrats, are aimed at increasing American competitiveness with China, especially in the areas of high-tech manufacturing, such as semiconductors, and artificial intelligence (AI). However, conservatives have derided the bill as a threat to national security and believe it would, ironically, “harm innovation.”

The conservatives called on congressional leaders currently involved in the conference to strip different provisions from the bill, including:

  • Any additional funding to the United Nations (UN)
  • Any immigration provision that provides amnesty, allows for refugee resettlement, or otherwise increases the number of green cards for foreigners in the United States
  • Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity (SOGI) language
  • Language that would advance climate change goals
  • Provisions without proper oversight

USICA-COMPETES Conference F… by Breitbart News

MY TAKE: These provisions should be stripped out of ANY bill that goes through Congress.

4 – Biden praises high gas prices as part of ‘incredible transition’
The NY Post reports: Out of touch as ever, President Biden celebrated record-high gas prices Monday, gushing that the pump pain was part of “an incredible transition” of the US economy away from fossil fuels.

“[When] it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over,” Biden said during a press conference in Japan following his meeting with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

The president then insisted that his administration’s actions, rather than increasing the price of gas, had actually been able to “keep it from getting worse — and it’s bad.”

Only then did Biden pay lip service to millions of Americans who have found themselves spending thousands of extra dollars to fuel up their vehicles.

MY TAKE: “Incredible transition” sounds an awful lot like “fundamental transformation,” which is a cunning way of Dems saying they are intentionally destroying America.

5 – CNN’s Jake Tapper Cuts Off White House Adviser Attempting To Pin Putin For High Gas Prices
The Daily Caller reports: CNN host Jake Tapper cut off a White House adviser Monday as he attempted to pin rising gas prices on Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Tapper asked Brian Deese, the director of the National Economic Council, if Americans should expect prices to continue soaring throughout the summer. Deese said the administration is committed to bringing prices down, before pointing to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine as the cause.

“We’re doing everything we can to try to bring those prices down. As you know, this all emanates from Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine which took Russian oil off the market”

“Not all of it,” Tapper quickly interjected. “I mean, some of it, yes.”

MY TAKE: When even CNN is calling out the Biden administration’s lies, you know it’s bad.

  2. All I can stress is everyone better get right with the Lord before Biden gets us into a nuclear war !!!
    1/3 of everything will perish

  3. Note well that Washington’s One China policy and Beijing’s One China policy are not alike. Do not make the mistake of confusing theirs with ours. We do not recognize Taiwan as part of China. We only acknowledge that Chinese on both sides of the Taiwan Strait regard it so,
