1 – Parents boycott school district’s planned LGBTQ Pride assembly: ‘Keep your kids home’
Fox News reports: Parents in North Hollywood, California plan to boycott an assembly to discuss LGBTQ+ issues for Pride month at Saticoy Elementary School.

An Instagram account named Saticoy Elementary Parents posted on Monday that “outraged” parents, “who share conservative values” and “don’t feel this material is appropriate to teach to the children,” are planning to keep their children home from school on June 2 because of a planned school assembly to observe LGBTQ+ Pride month.

“Attention: PROTEST IS ON JUNE 2nd! We need help! We need signs! We need everyone to come!” Saticoy Elementary Parents wrote on the Instagram post’s caption.

The Los Angeles Unified School District announced there will be a K-12 school assembly held at Saticoy Elementary School to teach students about the LGBTQ+ community.

The group alleges that students will watch a video where it says “some kids have 2 mommies, some have 2 daddies.”

“This has caused outrage among parents, many of them emailing/ calling LAUSD higher-ups to complain about this day and protesting by not taking their children to school that day,” the group included in their Instagram post..

ANNETA G: Parents, don’t give up.  We have to keep fighting this evil that’s trying to indoctrinate our children!

2 – GOP 2024 presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy censored as he surges in the polls
The New York Post reports: LinkedIn has censored GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy for “misinformation” and “hate speech” in seemingly anodyne posts about climate change and the threat of China — as a new internal poll shows him third behind Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump among Republican primary voters.

The entrepreneur’s account has been blocked for more than a week over three posts deemed offensive by LinkedIn, specifically:

  • “The CCP is playing the Biden administration like a Chinese mandolin.”
  • “If the climate religion was really about climate change, then they’d be worried about, say, shifting oil production from the U.S. to places like Russia and China.”
  • “The climate agenda is a lie: fossil fuels are a requirement for human prosperity.”

On Thursday morning, Ramaswamy tweeted a screenshot of a Tuesday email from LinkedIn that read: “Your account was restricted for repeatedly sharing content that contains misleading or inaccurate information.”

“Big Tech election interference has begun: @LinkedIn locked my account & censored me this week for posting videos where I expressed fact-based views as a presidential candidate about climate policy and Biden’s relationships with China. They said it violated their policies relating to “misinformation, hate speech, and violence.” Sad but not surprising,” Ramaswamy announced.

“Microsoft, the 2nd largest company in the world, owns & operates @LinkedIn which censored me this week from sharing fact-based views on climate change & Biden’s relationship with China.
@Microsoft also operates @bing, the supposed “competitor” to Google. This may be a preview of what’s coming in the year ahead: sector-wide 2024 election interference,” he added.

ANNETA G: If he’s being censored, he must be telling truths the left doesn’t want exposed.  That’s how they operate.

3 – Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer gets a new job
The Hill reports: Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer has joined NewsNation as a contributor.

He made his first appearance on the upstart cable news network Thursday, appearing on its recently launched political table talk show “The Hill” to discuss Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s entrance into the 2024 Republican presidential primary.

Spicer was the White House spokesperson for former President Trump and most recently served as a prime-time host on conservative cable channel Newsmax.

In a video posted online last month after his Newsmax show was canceled, Spicer teased a new venture, saying he wants to “expose the false narratives and the hypocrisy the mainstream media is pushing.”

ANNETA G: Ok Sean, tell us why you REALLY left Newsmax? Did you find out Chris Ruddy gave $1 million to the Clinton Foundation?  Just curious!

4 – Biden vetoes Congress, DC police reform bill to become law
The Washington Examiner reports: The District of Columbia’s police reform bill will remain in effect thanks to a veto by President Joe Biden.

Biden vetoed a congressional effort to overturn the bill on Thursday, which is the three-year anniversary of George Floyd’s murder at the hands of police officer Derek Chauvin.

“This morning, the president also vetoed a congressional Republican-led disapproval resolution that would have nullified crucial police reforms, many enacted in the District of Columbia on an emergency basis in 2020, after George Floyd’s murder,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said. “[These include] banning chokeholds, setting important restrictions on use of force and deadly force, improving access to body-worn camera recordings, and requiring officer training on de-escalation and use of force.”

The district council passed the reforms last year, but all local legislation in Washington is subject to congressional oversight. The Republican-led House passed a disapproval resolution in April, and Senate Republicans forced a vote in the upper chamber as well, sending the resolution to the president’s desk.

Biden vowed to veto the bill and chose the symbolically important anniversary of Floyd’s murder to follow through.

ANNETA G: 81 million people really voted for this fool?
