1 – Progressives feel vindication after major primaries
The Hill reports: Progressives had perhaps their best night of the primary season on Tuesday.

In Pennsylvania, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman easily emerged victorious in the Democratic Senate primary and state Rep. Summer Lee is on track to narrowly win her contest in the state’s 12th Congressional District, both outcompeting moderate Democrats.

Maybe most glaringly, some 2,500 miles away from the Keystone State, incumbent Rep. Kurt Schrader (D-Ore.), a seven-term Blue Dog Coalition member who was endorsed by President Biden, is on the verge of losing his battle against liberal challenger Jamie McLeod-Skinner.

The left see the contests as encouraging signs that they’re gaining steam when and where it counts, particularly after several high-profile losses in 2018 and 2020 blurred their prospects for success.

MY TAKE: While you were sleeping, radical progressives are working behind the scenes to literally take over the Democrat Party… and they’re planning to win in November – just like they did last November. They are electing their people in DROVES. Conservatives better get busy!

2 – REVEALED: Secret taxpayer-funded migrant charter flights costing tens of thousands of dollars that whisk asylum seekers from border to cities across US ahead of Title 42 rush next week
The Daily Mail reports: Secret government charter flights paid for by taxpayer funds are quietly transporting migrants from the southern border to other cities across the U.S.

The flights, which take off from border cities like El Paso, Texas, are taking busloads of illegal aliens to various cities around the country including Jacksonville, Florida, Alexandria, Louisiana and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Lawmakers are demanding more transparency about the flights and where the migrants are going, with some state and regional leaders alleging they were not informed about the relocation plans.

‘Health and Human Services has misled me or lied to me several times. I have asked, they actually told me any flights coming into Pennsylvania we will notify you and the local schools,’ Congressman Dan Meuser (R-Pa.) told NewsNation. ‘They didn’t. They haven’t notified us once.’

The call for transparency comes as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention plans next week to end restrictions, known as Title 42, that have prevented migrants from seeking asylum under U.S. law and international treaty on grounds of preventing the spread of COVID-19. Border officials are preparing for surge in the numbers of migrants – and charter flights – when the health order expires on May 23.

Last month, Border Patrol encountered 234,088 migrants crossing from Mexico into the U.S. – a 5.8 percent increase from the month prior where encounters reached 221,303. The March figure was the highest since July 2021 when encounters were at 213,593.

MY TAKE: And American taxpayers are PAYING for this! Welcome to Joe Biden’s America.

3 – Woke universities’ newest social justice crusade: Fighting ‘fatphobia’
Fox News reports: “Health justice” is becoming a new woke agenda item in universities across the country, as progressive academics try to eliminate “fatphobia,” or the cultural stigmatization of obesity, including scrapping the word “obesity” itself.

The University of Illinois Chicago’s school of public health defines weight stigma as “the discrimination or stereotyping based on a person’s weight,” which it claims is “reported at rates comparable to racism and is one of the last types of discrimination still condoned and carried out by public health and medical experts.”

“The incidence of weight stigma has increased by 66 percent with the rise of public health campaigns to end the ‘obesity epidemic,’” the school says.

The school released a policy brief in October called, “Addressing weight stigma and fatphobia in public health,” which said the country’s focus on body size is “rooted in racism” dating back to Charles Darwin, and it advised against using “extremely stigmatizing” words like “obesity” in favor of terms such as “people in larger bodies.”

  2. If you don’t become a human being until you are born, why does every pregnant woman say she’s carrying a child? Why do women grieve after a miscarriage? These people are delusional or in denial if they don’t believe that’s a human being before it comes through the birth canal.

  6. That supposed doctor needs to go back to med school and not cheat on her exams this time. Although she was probably unqualified, but got a free ride anyway. Part of the ongoing reparations program.

    • You hit the nail on the head Joy!! I’m absolutely stunned at the blatant ignorance of the so called doctors I’ve seen lately!! It is stunning!! I’m 70 years old I haven’t had a menstrual cycle since my late 40’s! My husband died two years ago! I’m not dating! Can barely move due to arthritis in my knees and I go to a young ob/gyn woman and she wants me to have a pregnancy test!!! I busted out laughing! I told the nurse you’re serious aren’t you? I said does she know how old I am?? She said yes ma’am. As I was making waves I guess she felt she should bring in the dr. The dr came in and said yes I would like for you to do a pregnancy test. I said I fail to understand why? And I reiterated all of the above as to why I didn’t see the point. She said I do this for all my patients. I was like um no. I’m 70 haven’t had sex in years no longer have a cycle so it’s absurd! I said unless you learned something new in med school that women can get pregnant from just being a woman and it matters not what age or whether or not they produce an egg every month then it’s absurd! I wasn’t tested. I’ve been skittish about returning to her. This is frightening!
