As the public impeachment hearing began with testimony before the House Intelligence Committee Wednesday morning, Republican congressman Jim Jordan made the first statement before Chairman Adam Schiff ever gaveled the meeting to order.

Jordan erected a large poster in the room, with the words of a Democrat who has long called for President Trump’s impeachment – Rep. Al Green.

“I’m concerned if we don’t impeach the president, he will get re-elected.” – Rep. Al Green, May 4, 2019, the poster reads.

Republicans just recently added Jordan to the House Intelligence Committee so he could be a voice for the Republicans during the impeachment probe.

Twitter is already ablaze over Jordan’s poster… and he’s being pounded for not wearing a suit.
