Today is April 4, I am DML, and these are the stories catching headlines this Saturday morning.

1-Kennedy duo considered dead
An active search for two members of the Kennedy family who went missing Thursday during a boating trip on Chesapeake Bay in Maryland has been suspended, the U.S. Coast Guard said Friday, according to reports.

Family member Kathleen Kennedy Townsend says the search for her 40-year-old daughter, Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKean, and the daughter’s 8-year-old son Gideon McKean “has turned from rescue to recovery,” according to a statement. Both McKean and her son were seen struggling to return to shore during a canoe trip near Herring Bay, Washington, D.C.’s FOX 5 reported.

2-Trump fires Atkinson
President Trump has reportedly fired Michael Atkinson, the inspector general for the U.S. intelligence community who alerted Congress to concerns about a Trump phone call with the president of Ukraine – a matter that led to the president’s impeachment last year.

Trump formally notified the intelligence committees of both the Senate and House in a letter dated Friday that was obtained by Politico. “This is to advise that I am exercising my power as President to remove from office the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community, effective 30 days from today,” the president wrote.

DML: A…B…C you later pal.

3- Bad masks and broken ventilators
Some states and cities that have been shipped masks, gloves, ventilators and other essential equipment from the nation’s medical stockpile to fight the coronavirus have gotten an unwelcome surprise: the material is unusable.

Nearly 6,000 medical masks sent to Alabama had dry rot and a 2010 expiration date. More than 150 ventilators sent to Los Angeles were broken and had to be repaired. In Oregon, it was masks with faulty elastic that could cause the straps to snap, exposing medical workers to the disease.

“Several of the shipments we have received from the strategic national stockpile contained (personal protective equipment) well past expiration dates and, while we are being told much of the expired equipment is capable of being used for COVID-19 response, they would not be suitable for use in surgical settings,” Charles Boyle, a spokesman for Oregon Gov. Kate Brown, said in an email.

DML- Blame is on Obama?  Why not.

4- Trump rejects face covering
President Donald Trump announced new federal guidelines Friday recommending that Americans wear face coverings when in public to help fight the spread of the new coronavirus. The president immediately said he had no intention of following that advice himself, saying, “I’m choosing not to do it.”

The new guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention encourages people, especially in areas hit hard by the spread of the coronavirus, to use rudimentary coverings like T-shirts, bandannas and non-medical masks to cover their faces while outdoors.

The president exempted himself from his administration’s own guidelines, saying he could not envision himself covering his face while sitting in the Oval Office greeting world leaders. “It’s a recommendation, they recommend it,” Trump said. “I just don’t want to wear one myself.”

DML- I won’t be wearing one myself, so we have something in common other than a full head of hair.

5- Death toll goes higher
There are now 273,880 people who tested positive for COVID19 in the US, and 7,077 who are dead.  This represents a death rate of .026.  The death rate is now closer to 3% than it is to 2%, making it more worrisome that the virus is indeed more deadly than first expected.  President Trump said on Friday that the “surge” of COVID19 was about to hit, which means the death rate will grow even higher in the weeks to come.

DML- Washing your hands, keeping your distance and boosting your immune system are the keys to winning the battle against COVID19.  You can help yourself boost your immune system with DML CBD.  I suggest our DML CBD PURE tincture oil 1000mg (click here).  I also suggest our DML CBD GUMMY CHEWS (dmlcbd.comgum3).   Do not wait, quantities are limited.  Follow the lead of Scott: “Hey DML, just wanted to inform your company that I received our DML CBD packages and started using the products right away.  At 48 years old, I am following the social distancing guidelines as much as possible, but lets face it… we all have to be outdoors at some point.  This virus appears to be semi-airborne so it’s comforting to know I have better chance of being a survivor with immune capabilities to fend off the invisible virus.  Five days in on taking the oil 2xs per day and I can feel the difference already.  The DML CBD is like magic!  Thanks brother!”
