Today is March 14, I am DML, and the stories below are catching headlines this Saturday. Please read them, share them, and use the DML NEW APP throughout the day to remain the smartest person in the room.
1-House and Trump get on same page
The House approved legislation early Saturday to provide direct relief to Americans suffering physically, financially and emotionally from the coronavirus pandemic. President Donald Trump on Friday declared the outbreak a national emergency, freeing up money and resources to fight it, then threw his support behind the congressional aid package. From the Rose Garden, Trump said, “I am officially declaring a national emergency,” unleashing as much as $50 billion for state and local governments to respond to the crisis. As the House prepared to vote late Friday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi trumpeted the hard-fought package that will provide free testing, sick pay for workers, enhanced unemployment benefits and bolstered food programs.
DML: The House passed the bill after midnight on a bipartisan vote, 363-40. It now goes to the Senate.
2-Apple to Close Stores Worldwide
Apple announced Saturday that it would close all of its stores outside of China until March 27 as it grapples with the spreading coronavirus. The company’s CEO Tim Cook said in a statement that Apple has committed $15 million to the global COVID-19 response, “both to help treat those who are sick and to help lessen the economic and community impacts of the pandemic.”
DML: Thank goodness for the internet, although, how long until the UPS, FedEx and Post Office decides to shut down?
3-Worst case scenarios rock social media
Statistical models meant to project the potential reach of the coronavirus and the COVID-19 disease suggest more than a million Americans could die if the nation does not take swift action to stop its spread as quickly as possible.
At least three different models built by epidemiology experts suggest that millions of Americans will contract the coronavirus, even in optimistic projections, based on what they know of its spread in China and the United States so far.
One model from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggested that between 160 million and 210 million Americans could contract the disease over as long as a year. Based on mortality data and current hospital capacity, the number of deaths under the CDC’s scenarios ranged from 200,000 to as many as 1.7 million.

4- Trump’s doctor pushes back
Trump doesn’t require test after exposure to 2 people with coronavirus! He does not require testing or self-quarantine after being exposed to two individuals who have since tested positive for the coronavirus, according to his White House physician.
The White House released a letter late Friday from Sean Conley, the physician to the president, detailing that Trump was in close proximity with two people at his Mar-a-Lago estate last weekend who have tested positive for COVID-19, the new strain of coronavirus that has sparked a global pandemic.
“The President’s exposure to the first individual was extremely limited (photograph, handshake), and though he spent more time in close proximity to the second case, all interactions occurred before any symptom onset,” Conley wrote. “These interactions would be categorized as LOW risk for transmission per CDC guidelines, and as such, there is no indication for home quarantine at this time.
DML: Trump can’t get sick, and if he does, he won’t tell us. Smart move.
5- Thank you DML! Thank you!
The letters coming into the inbox here are incredible, and I am taken back by the lovely words. People are saying thank you for making my amazing CBD products available at a much cheaper price at a time when we all have to improve our immune system. The immune system being strong is a key factor in battling any illness, doctors are saying time and again this week. I had one lady write, “I read your testimonials every day and think ‘today will be the day’ I give it a try. I never do take action though. Now that the conronavirus is here to stay for a long time I cannot afford not to protect myself in every way possible. I could never afford 5 bottles of your DML CBD, but I can afford 3 and get the 2 free. Thank you DML.”
DML: Your are welcome. I am warning people now, we are running low on inventory and my manufacturing house fears we will have to wait weeks to get a new load in and tested. Please, do not wait to get yours. Go to DMLcbd.com/gel
