1. U.S. Strikes Iranian Terrorist Facilities In Syria, Multiple Terrorists Killed:

Daily Wire – The U.S. launched another round of airstrikes against facilities used by Iran and its terrorist proxy in Syria on Sunday night in response to those groups continuing to launch attacks on U.S. throughout the region.

“U.S. military forces conducted precision strikes today on facilities in eastern Syria used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iran-affiliated groups in response to continued attacks against U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria,” said Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. “The strikes were conducted against a training facility and a safe house near the cities of Abu Kamal and Mayadin, respectively.”

Senior U.S. defense officials said that approximately 6-7 Iranian-backed terrorists were killed at one of the locations and that “two hours of secondary explosions [were] seen at second location suggesting large weapons and ammo storage.”

Denny’s Insight: I saw two instances of F-22 Raptors flying over an area near where I live over the weekend. This is typically not an area where these jets would fly. It was likely a training drill, but now I wonder… training for what? Or is it preparing for what?

2. Bill Burr’s Wife Nia Renee Hill Flips Off Donald Trump on Jumbotron at UFC 295:

The Big Lead – Donald Trump appeared at UFC 295 last night at Madison Square Garden in New York City. It is somewhat surprising he found time to attend the fight given his various court dates and campaign trail obligations, but he made it work. And, as often is the case with the former president, his presence led to a viral moment.

As Trump entered the arena ahead of the Procházka-Pereira main card, he got put up on the Jumbotron. This allowed everyone in the arena to watch a woman seated just to Trump’s left give him a dirty look before throwing up two middle fingers. It turns out that woman is Nia Renee Hill, an actress and producer who attended the fight with her husband, Bill Burr.

Denny’s Insight: Classless and proof that Bill Burr is not wearing the pants in this relationship.

3. Jill Stein adds to Biden’s 2024 problems:

The Hill – President Biden, already facing dismal approval numbers and multiple liberals looking to replace him, got more unwelcome news this week with the entry of Jill Stein into the 2024 presidential race.

Stein, who announced Thursday that she would seek the Green Party nomination for the second time, is considered a fringe and intrusive figure to many Democrats who think she played the part of spoiler to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s White House campaign against former President Trump.

Her third-party candidacy is now one of a half dozen bids from the left, center and independent spectrum that could damage Biden in the race, bringing attention to the president’s limitations as the Republican primary field shrinks. And it came the same day Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) announced he is not seeking reelection, raising speculation that he could also seek the Oval Office next year.

Denny’s Insight: Jill Stein at it again? If it means taking away votes from Biden and only Biden, then I’m all for it.

4. Las Vegas teen beaten to death by mob of attackers outside of high school:

Fox News – A Las Vegas high school student died after he was severely beaten by a group of around 15 attackers.

Jonathan Lewis, a 17-year-old student of Rancho High School, died Tuesday, less than two weeks after an attack by the group of students outside the school, according to a KLAS report.

The teen’s father, also named Jonathan Lewis, confirmed his son’s death to the station. The grieving dad said his son kept to himself and lived in Las Vegas with his mother, though the teen planned to move to live with his father in Austin, Texas.

The father also expressed disappointment in the fight that led to the death of his son, saying that the “children don’t even know what they’re doing half the time.”

The father said he hopes the incident can be part of a conversation around youth violence in the city.

Denny’s Question: Absolutely disturbing. I think all these thugs should be tried as adults, they knew the sheer force of fifteen of them against one student would ultimately lead to death. This is murder. What are your thoughts on this crime? How should these ‘kids’ be tried?
