Four police officers, two medics and a civilian were injured in what authorities are calling a “minor explosion” at a strip mall just outside Baltimore, Maryland, Monday night.

A spokesman for the Baltimore County Fire Department told Fox 45 Baltimore that police were called to a nail salon in the shopping center around 9:30 p.m. ET for a report of a former employee on the premises.

Police confirmed to Fox News Digital that the suspect set a fire that sparked the explosion just after police arrived at the scene.


Four police officers and two medics were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.  A seventh person suffered life-threatening injuries, and is believed to be the former employee.

  1. Get use to it. It will be happening everyday maybe several times a day. Biden signed the Global Compact of Migration. The more people that come in good or bad we will be seeing this on a daily basis. May God have mercy on us.
