Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was arrested Thursday in Colorado, authorities confirmed to Fox News Digital.
Jeudy, 23, is being held at the Arapahoe County jail on misdemeanor charges of 2nd-degree criminal tampering with a domestic violence enhancer, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office. He is being held without bond.
The article goes on to state the following:
Under Colorado’s Title 18, a person commits the crime of second degree criminal tampering if he/she “tampers with property of another with intent to cause injury, inconvenience, or annoyance to that person or to another or if he knowingly makes an unauthorized connection with property of a utility.”
Jeudy won’t be getting any preferential treatment because of his NFL status. John Bartmann, the public information officer told FOX News, “He’s not going to get any preferential treatment. Back to the line.”
Jeudy caught 52 passes for 856 yards and scored three touchdowns, during his rookie season and was a stand out at Alabama before his NFL fame.
He was also the number 15 overall pick for the Denver Broncos back in the 2020 draft.
