Pennsylvania Senate candidate Kathy Barnette’s campaign said she was at the Jan. 6, 2021 protest in Washington, D.C., to “demand election accountability,” but didn’t break the law, after photos of her from that day surfaced on the eve of the state’s primary election.

“Kathy was in DC to support President Trump and demand election accountability,” a Barnette campaign spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “Any assertion that she participated in or supported the destruction of property is intentionally false.”

The article goes on to state the following:

NBC News Monday morning published photos that appear to show Barnette marching in D.C. on Jan. 6 near members of “Proud Boys,” an extreme right-wing group that played a prominent role in the Capitol attack.

Photos of Barnette in D.C. on January 6th have begun to emerge since she has proved to be a major contender in the upcoming GOP Pennsylvania general primary.

Her campaign has said there is no evidence that Barnette entered the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, nor does she have any connection with the Proud Boys.

A Fox News Poll showed Trump-endorsed candidate Mehmet Oz at 22%, former hedge fund executive Dave McCormick at 20%, Barnette at 19%, while 19% are supporting other candidates, and 18% still undecided.

Twitter user Chad Loder shared photos and video footage on Twitter Sunday evening showing Barnette among a group of people walking to the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, the day of the riot at the Capitol.

Loder admits there is no evidence to show that Barnette ever entered the Capitol building.

Barnette was interviewed by Fox News host Shannon Bream on Sunday. WATCH:

  1. Funny-All those rotting in jail claim they did nothing !!! It comes out at the last minute !!! Something is fishy in PA!!!!

  2. I heard negative things about her past performances. She has been labeled a racist. I don’t trust her. I’m ok with her being at the rally. Looks innocent enough. Just because her gloves have black spots on 3 fingers is nothing to get excited about. I bought some of these gloves as Christmas gifts a couple of years ago. They are for typing on your cell phone without taking your gloves off. But I still wouldn’t vote for her.

  3. Yeah, and just how many videos are out there of Maxine Waters actually inciting violence with her speech? Stop with the January 6th. The whole country watched a “Summer of Love,” with cities burning, people being beaten almost to death, police attacked, federal statues torn down, etc., with the Left looking the other way in 2020, and not a peep. DOUBLE-STANDARD.

    • Thank you Lynette81. Haven’t we all when at a concert or big event walking with other coming in or out. Left grabbing at any kind of stray as always

  4. At least she cared enough to be there on the 6th. It seems funny that the media doesn’t want her to win? You know that the media only wants what’s best for the country. That’s reason enough to vote for her right there. The other two are big time RINOS.

  5. I’ve done my research on the candidates. I don’t trust that Oz is a true conservative. Check on him. He’ll fit right in with the rinos.
The trash talk on Barnette shows me she’s not “one of them!”

  6. If the boys in elementary school are anything like my son was the janitor is going to be busy unplugging the toilets! My son thought it was fun to take his older sister’s tampons and shoot them into the toilet and watch them expand then he’d flush them causing the floor to be covered with water! The other thing is that young boys are imaginative and they will find other things to do with them that they think are funny. What about pads? The kids bathroom at my house was plastered with those as well all because my son thought it was funny and to get back at his sister. He didn’t think it was funny after he was punished but he was about 7 at the time.
